Chapter 9

Update schedules are non existent and so is my motivation but hey here's another chapter

"I think this is a bad idea John," Alex mumbled. The fact that he even said this concerned John, considering the two were a very reckless duo.

"Well, that's more the reason we should try and talk to him. Figure out why it makes you so uneasy so that we can fix it," John said, smiling to try and assure himself.

Alex just sighed, letting the temperature around him increase to try and relieve stress.

As they walked down the road, they saw Aaron's house in the distance. Alex felt a slight sinking feeling in his stomach but he made no notice of it for the time being.

John took a deep breath and trudged along ahead of Alex.

"Hey, don't speed up!" Alex growled and reluctantly walked faster to match the freckled boys pace.

John only laughed and started going faster.

Alex huffed and ran in front of John and kept his pace from there.

John "accepted" defeat and let Alex stay ahead.

However, John's attention was slowly swayed away by the nature and treelife all around them. He knew Peggy was helping keep them in check and he always found it fascinating.

He knew his counterpart was out there, he was the astronomy part of the world, he handled stuff like the stars and the night sky.

Despite his power being labeled "astronomy", he was more of the moon in a sense.

And someone out there was his sun. He just had to find. For now, he enjoyed Peggy's company and what she had to offer.

Her energetic yet chill personality was something you didn't see in many, considering she was the last sister of the Schylers and was often looked over.

Despite Eliza being the middle child, she and Angelica were recognized a lot more than Peggy and Peggy would never say a word to them about it.

Even if it annoyed her to the bone, she would never bother her sisters about a situation as stupid as this.

John was ripped from his thoughts when an unbearable wave of coldness that he recognized as s blast chilled his whole body from chest out.

He immediately felt lightheaded and dizzy and felt himself fall, only to be caught in a pair of strong, welcoming hands.

He heard his name being called as his eyes slowly fell shut and a wave of heat around his face.

In his eyes and blurred out state of mind, he smiled slightly.

He had found his sun. Even if it wasn't exactly the sun I'm terms of power/elemental, their gentle yet firm nature made him feel all types of happy despite feeling as frozen as an ice cube.

He had found his sun.

Short, and kinda plotish? There's not gonna be any type of ship battles or anything so n o. For now, Lexi can be John's sun until they real sun elemental strolls their way into the story within the next few chapters.

I'll slowly start to work my way back into updating this story along with my Jamilton one so hopefully there will be more chapters soon??? Idk yet oof
