Today is May 13, my birthday. I'm finally sixteen. Mom and Grandma arrived last night. They're staying at an Inn down by Hogsmeads.
Tonight Mom, Grandma, Cedric, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Cho, Ginny, and I are going to London for my birthday dinner. I am So excited to see Ron, Ginny, Cho, and Cedric's react to Muggle life.
I'm sitting with my Mom and Grandma in my dorm. It's really warm outside, so I decided on wearing an over-the-shoulder pink floral dress.
My sixteenth Birthday will be different since I'm spending it in England.
Dad sent me a a necklace with my birthstone. He said the necklace was specially made by a jewel maker in Louisiana.
"How does it feel to be the big one, six." Mom says as she layer across my bed. Her curly hair hung over her green eyes. I smile. "Great." I say. I put some perfume on before slipping on my heels. Grandma comes out the bathroom.
"Ready baby?" Grandma asked. Her vibrant grey hair showed silver linings as it hit the afternoon sun. I smile. "Yup, lets go." I say as I finished putting body makeup on my shoulders.
Once Mom, Grandma and I make it down the stairs I am met with Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione. They are all holding presents.
"Y'all know you didn't have to get me anything." I say. Hermione rolls her eyes. "Oh hush, Be. We're your friends we like to shower you with gifts." Hermione states as she gives me a gentle hug so she doesn't drop the presents.
"Thank y'all." I say to them. "Okay my mom is gonna take you to the car and I'm going to get Cedric and Cho so we can head to London in a bit." I say as I pointed to Mom. I quickly turn to Ron, who is holding his hand up. "And to answer your question: No the car does not fly." I teased Ron.
I walk out the common room in search for by best friend and boyfriend. Cho and Cedric were sitting on the bench talking. I smile when I see them.
"Hello, you too." I say as a skip happily over to Cedric and give him a quick kiss.
"Happy Birthday, Phoebe." Cho says as she hands me a bag with wrapping paper covering the gift. "Thank you."
"So how does it feel to be sixteen." Cedric asked as he put his arm across my shoulders.
Cho, Cedric and I begin to walk. "Great. Fifteen felt so babyish." I explain. Cho lightly hits me on the shoulder. "Hey, I'm fifteen." Cho says with a slight smirk on her face. "Sorry, Cho." I laugh.
Once we make it to the car Everyone seemed to be waiting for us. "Y'all ready?" I asked as I got into the passenger seat.
Mom was driving and Grandma sat in the back seat along with Cho, Cedric, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, and Harry.
The first half of the ride consists of passing plateaus and evergreens until we finally made it to the city of London. The whole ride we all sang along to Muggle songs.
We made it to the restaurant, which was very nice inside.
The dinner was amazing and beautiful and I loved spending time with my friends that day.
