Welcome to Hogwarts

A week later, I woke up, pretty excited.  Today was a new beginning at my new school: Hogwarts.  I had packed all my clothes, my books and everything in my suitcase the night before.  Tonks flattens my wavy hair with a spell she promised to teach me when I would be more experienced with my wand.  I put on some gloss and some mascara, nothing too flashy.  i jump in the first pair of jeans I find, put on a burgundy turtle neck that makes my eyes pop and my black Doc Martens.   I rush downstairs to eat breakfast,  carrying my stuff loudly in the stairs.  Arrived in the kitchen, I sit down ready to eat my cereals, trying to catch my breath from all the running.

"Hey, slow down, Speedy Gonzalez.  You're not gonna get to King's Cross any faster by eating too fast and throwing up on the side of the road. " my dad comments, a soft smile on his lips, as usual.

I stick my tongue out and start eating much slower, just to mess with him.
An hour later, the Weasleys are at the front door, waiting for me.  I hug my parents tightly and promise to write often.
"Be safe, Ophie.  We're just one owl away, remember if there's anything just tell McGonagle or Dumbledore they'll know what to do and...
-Hey, relax Dora.  I'm gonna be more than fine.  I'm going to Hogwarts.  I'm gonna have the time of my life. Beside I can call you with McGonagle's phone and Mr. The werewolf Lupin will be running there to have some word with the idiot who dares mess with me."
Remus smiles softly, remembering all the good times he had at Hogwarts, all the memories he and his friends made inside those walls of stone.
After saying goodbye, I squeeze between Hermione and George in the flying car.  They tell me the most incredible stories about Hogwarts: the architecture, all the pranks the twins did and the weird stuff that happened because of Harry.  We laughed a lot but when we got to King's Cross, a different kind of belly pain took place: fear.  I've never been to that kind of school before, I was scared of not fitting in.  What if people think I'm weird...  what if I'm put in a house where I don't know anyone... What if they still think I'm a squib.... After a couple of seconds, I take deep breaths and think about what dad told me about Hogwarts and how he thought it was the most amazing place on earth.  I brush those feelings away.  It was not the time for worrying,  I was going to Hogwarts for Merlin's sake!  We got through a brick wall to get to the majestic train they always talked about.  I'm amazed by the quantity of people present.  We quickly say goodbye to Molly and Arthur and enter the train to find a compartiment.  We walk through the whole train to find a place spacious enough for all of us.  We sit and continue talking about everything and nothing at the same time.  My hands are shaking and I can't help but tap my feet on the carpet because of how excited I am.

Suddenly the door slides open, letting a dashing blond guy enter the room.  He's tall and slim, but muscular enough.  He wears dark navy pants and a white shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, that makes his pale skin tone and stormy-blue eyes stand out. Wait, stormy-blue eyes?  He looks around like he's looking for someone.  He looks pretty pissed.  Everybody but me looks at him, waiting for the reason of his presence, an annoyed look on their face.  Then our gaze meet, and we can't help but lock our eyes on each other.  I recognize that blue-ish grey gaze.  That's it:  the boy from the store.  His gaze softens uncontrollably, his cheeks turning slightly pink.  He opens his mouth like he was about to say something but Fred interrupts him before he could say a world:  "Hey.  Quit looking at her like that, ferret.  She's not a zoo animal."  He looks at Fred with a disturbed look and turns his gaze back at me, confused.  "You looking for something, Malfoy?  If it's trouble or your body guards, you can just take off now. " Hermione says. The boy, Malfoy they called him, coughs, looks to the ground, ashamed, mumbles a quick sorry and gets out of the compartiment, oddly fast.

"What's wrong with him? Did he just appologize?
-Maybe he drank some weird potion..

-Did I just saw Malfoy b-blush?
