It took ten earth minutes for the Alteans to board red and take Lance prisoner. From there, Lance was taken to go see the Commander. Lance struggled against the metal cuffs that the Altean Soldier put on his wrists.

When they boarded the Altean ship, Lance found a chance to escape. So he ran for it. But before he could reach the door, the Altean shot his leg. Now lance couldn't place any pressure on his left leg. So he had to limp.

Lance was pushed forward and he fell to the ground when they reached to bridge. Commander Idgrang stood infront of Lance inspecting him. One by one the other paladins of Voltron were shoved next to Lance. Lance could see the fear in their eyes.

"I am Commander Idgrang. You are now prisoners of my ship. I want each of you to remove your helments. Do not speak or you will be shot. And if one of you try to attack or escape, like this one," The Commander kicked Lance. "You will be shot."

Hunk was shoved indicating for him to take off his helment. His cuffs were undone and Hunk took of his helment. Then he was cuffed again. Down the line everyone took off their helment. Keith was after hunk. When Allura took off her helment, Commander Idgrang was in shock.

"An Altean! Ah, you look like Princess Allura. Too bad Commander Heira found you. The king will be pleased."

Next Pidge took off her helment. Then Lance. Lance carefully took off his helmant. Silently pleading for the Commander to not recognize him as a prisoner.

"Another Altean! Who might you be?" The Commander bent down to look Lance in the eyes. Lance looked up and saw the Commanders cold, hard, eyes. They looked heartless and dead.

"My name is Lance." Lance new to be careful how he spoke. He didn't dare to threaten the Commander. That would just lead to torture and pain.

The Commander got up and turned to his soldiers. "Put them in the cell. Make sure to create a file for each of them."

With that, the soldiers grabbed the paladins and brought to a room. Each of them were thrown into the same cell. Then an Altean wearing a white lab coat walked in with an ipad like device.

The Altean didn't speak. He just knelt down and tested each of us. When he got to Lance he had him place a finger on his ipad.

"Well what would you know, this one already has a file. Is that right Prisoner 4279?"

Lance was too familiar with that number. It haunted him. The team looked at him with concern and worry. But Lance looked away. He didn't want to hear or see their sympathy.

"Hmmm, interesting. You were never Altean. You were human. Fasinating." The Altean turned to one of the soldiers garding the door. "You. Bring this prisoner to my lab."

Lance stood up trying not to put weight on his left leg. He followed the soldier to a room. The Altean scientist followed them.

"Here Here. Sit over there." The Altean scientist pointed to a cot in the coner. Lance limped towards it. Thankful to rest his leg.

Lance had no clue what the Altean scientist would do to him. He couldn't tell if the scientist wanted to hurt him or help him. But from past experience, Lance knew it would most likely be torture.

The Altean scientist walked over to Lance. "Lay down."

Lance layed down. His leg was killing him as he moved it. The pain wasn't as bad as some Lance has experienced before. But it did hurt.

Suddenly, the scientist pulled out a metal tool that looked like a drill. "Now be still this won't hurt a bit."

Lance couldn't recall what had happened after that. He was thrown into a new cell without his team. Everything was a blur and Lance couldn't focus.

Lances leg hurt even more now and it was hard to breath. The room started to spin and a wave of nausea hit Lance. He felt like crap. His head was pounding and there was ringing in his right ear.

How could he take this? He can't go through the pain and torture again. Lance felt silent tears fall down his face. He just cant do it again. He had to escape. Or maybe he could die. The thought of death didn't scare Lance anymore. After the pain he's gone through, death seemed like a better alternative.

Why me? Why do I have to be the one to suffer? Lance thought. Why do I have to go through all this pain. What does life have against me? Why can't I just die. To get rid of this pain.

Lance silently wept. He couldn't do this again. He didn't want to feel the pain again. Eventually, Lance cried himself asleep.
