What was Skylar trying to prove? I mean one minute she hates me and the next she beats up my girlfriend?! I think it’s time we both move on. If we can’t look each other in the eye and talk without fighting how are we supposed to make this a relationship. I just really thought she was the one. I looked down at Bethany who was laying there holding my hand.

“im really sorry” I said with a sigh

“You weren’t the one that threw the punch, it’s not your fault” she looke at me and smiled. She gives me a warm feeling that Skylar used to give me, the first time she told me her name on that bench.

Snap out of it hunter, she isn’t right for you.

“I know but this was about me wasn’t it?”

“I just told her you were mine, sorry” I saw a tear trying to escape her eye but she didn’t let it.

I leaned in and placed a kiss on her forehead

“You are mine” I whispered

*Skylar’s POV*

I was saying goodbye to Reece and I just broke down. He was the only one I had right now. My two best friends haven’t even spoken to me since the party. I felt so alone.

“Hey Reece what are you doing here?!” I looked back and saw a guy the same age as Reece run over and gave him a man hug. He had dirty blonde hair and greenish- grey eyes. He was, oh he was hot. I wiped the tears away and let go of Reece while he was hugging me to comfort me.

“Hey man, how’s it going” Reece said calmly.

“It’s going good, what brought you back here”

Reece looked at me and said “Coming back to meet a close friend”

The guy looked at me and smiled

“hey, I’m Dylan”

“Nice to meet you, um I’m Skylar”

We shook hands and he grinned then said

“that’s a nice name”

I giggled in the most awkward way and said

“Thanks”

I knew my cheeks were going bright pink/red.
