Wide Awake

Hey guys! I know its been a while. I'm going to try and start posting here more, I already have quite a few chapters ready. But bear with me lol, I'm going to be starting "squad-mas" in my oneshot book when December starts, so make sure you check that out. Also, if you don't like a song in one of the chapters, please don't let that deter you from reading the rest of them, and if you have any requests for a certain song, let me know!

Garrett knocks and then smiles at me as the door opens and we're greeted by a dog and a man with reddish brown hair who I assume is Shane. I smile at him and then bend down to pet the dog. "Oh well aren't you adorable, what's your name, huh?" I baby talk him as the lab licks my cheek.

"Well that's Uno" the man points at the lab "I'm Shane nice to meet you" he smiles as I get up and shake his hand as we walk into the house.

"Hi, I am Piper, Garrett's new friend" I laugh.

"Oh we know who you are, we've heard about your shower duets" Shane laughs before pointing to a man with long brown hair "this is our friend Drew and this is my boyfriend Ryland." He gestures to the other man. I wave at both of them.

"Hi nice to meet you!" I smile as he invites us to sit on the couch.

"Watch the cum stains" he warns causing me to laugh.

"So, Garrett says you just had a really bad break up?" Shane questions causing Garrett to yell.

"Shane!" He continues "I don't think we should bring that up." I shake my head.

"It's OK Gar" I reassure "yes, he was a jerk."

"Ooh girl what happened? Spill the tea." Shane says laughing.

"He called me selfish for wanting alone time. And he always made me feel like crap. Called me names, treated me like trash essentially" I explain.

"Me" Shane whispers as Ryland smacked him "no but seriously that's awful." He says more seriously.

"Yeah" said Drew quietly.

"Yeah I know" I state. "He wasn't too happy about me standing up for myself and calling him out on his crap, so he slapped me" I pause, an audible gasp coming from all three men. I don't know why I was telling them all of this, I just met them. But I felt comfortable with them, like I had known them forever just like I did with Garrett.

"So" I continue, "I broke up with him and told him to get out" I look to see Shane nodding in approval " and then he had the nerve to come back today and 'apologize'" I do air quotes with the word "apologize", causing Garrett to laugh. "Anyways I called him out again and told him that he was a pompous douchebag. And he slapped me again." I look away from them as I hear Shane gasp again.

"Luckily I was there this time." Garrett chimes in putting an arm around me. "He won't bother her again." I smile and nod as Shane speaks again.

"I'm sorry Piper," I shake my head.

"No, it's alright. It's for the best, even if it sucks," I explain. "I'm better off without him anyways, the last 24 hours have been an eye opener for me" I smile as the guys all nod.

"well I'm glad you're learning from it." Shane smiles.

"That's right, and the experience will make you stronger and help you grow," Ryland added.

"Plus you got to meet us, although I'm not sure that's a positive," Garrett chuckles as I smile.

"I'm leaning towards positive. Now, I was promised a spooky video," I grin as Shane smirks.
