Change My Mind

I've never really believed in love

It's all just a hoax

Portrayed in books and on TV

None of it is a bigger lie

Love at first sight is all made up

Love is a lie

Told to keep up hope

Love at first sight is a load of bull

Told by couples who don't want to tell The truth about why are together

That is until I met you

Or should I say saw you

I was always against love at first sight

Because you should love someone

For who they are

Not what they look like

But when I first looked

In your direction

I knew right then

There was something about you

When we started talking I knew then

I loved you already

It's almost as if

I have known you all my life

You made me a believer

Sometimes I forget to believe

But then you come around

And remind me

You've changed my mind

And I love that

I love that you have

I now know it's possible

To believe in something so ridiculous

Something so made up as love
