I used to cry myself to sleep

knowingly letting you break me.

Let you break my heart.

I used to be angry at the world

and depressed all the time.

Until I decided I wouldn't let this happen anymore.

And now I'm free of you.

Ever since I left you.

I'm happier these days.

I even cry less at night.

Without you nearby.

I'm better off forever alone than with you.
