Chapter 21

After my call with Amelia, I texted Mason and told him that Amelia wants us to go to the bar again tonight. A short while later he texted back. "Only if you promise not to move those hips around for other men to see again." I laugh and send a message back. "What if I promise to only move my hips for you." Not even a minute later he replies back. "Sweetheart, you are playing with fire."

I laughed out loud and message Amelia before putting my phone on charge. I went into my bedroom and searched around to see what I will wear tonight and decided on blue jeans, a light blue top and a denim jacket. I will put some boots on to match the outfit.

I went through my drawers in search for some jewelry and as I open the draw by my dressing table, my eyes fell on the small photo of Amelia's brother. I took it out and look at it. I meant to give it to Amelia a while back, but forgot about it. I sit down on the chair infront of the dresser and examined the photo. "You will always be a memory to me, but my heart belongs to someone else now," I whispered.

"Do you mean it," I hear someone and looked up quickly to see Mason standing there. "I'm sorry, I did knock, but you didn't answer. Why don't you lock your doors, anyone could of just walk in."

I was sitting there frozen to the spot, still clutching the small photo in my hand. Mason walks up to me, his eyes going to my hand. "Do you mind," he asked and motioned to the photo. "I'm sorry, I forgot about the photo still in my draw." He takes my hand and pulls me up and asked of he could see it, so I held it out to him. I kept quiet while he looks at it. He hands it back to me and looked into my eyes. "Daisy, do you mean it, is there really a chance for me." I nod my head and all of a sudden I felt tears in my eyes.

Mason pulls me into his arms and just held me to him. After a while I move away and apologise. "Baby, you don't need to apologise to me," Mason whispers. I look up and into his eyes. "How did I get so lucky to find someone as special as you Mason."

After a while when I felt more calmed, I look at him. "Why are you so early Mason." He laughs a bit and said that its already after seven. I look at the clock, "oh my word, I'm not finish yet. Why don't you sit inside while I have a quick shower." He nods his head and walked out my room, so I rush to the bathroom and got myself ready. When I was done, I picked up the photo from my bed and walked inside the lounge.

We left the house and I know Mason saw me put the small picture inside my pocket, but he didn't say a word about it. We met up with the rest of the gang and got something to drink. Tonight it was just our small group at the table and I laugh when Melissa said that its good and that there will be more booze for us.

After a while Amelia's fiance went to the bar and Ward went with Melissa to the ladies room to wait for her as some guy was trying to come on to her and Melissa has already kneed him where the sun don't shine.

Mason was sitting next to me, silently drinking his beer and I reached in my pocket and took the small picture out and move it over the table where Amelia sat. "I forgot to give this back to you Amelia, you know that this don't belong to me anymore as I have moved on and I know that you are happy for me."

She takes the photo from me and looked at it, then motioned with her eyes for me to look at Mason. I turned to him and what I saw on his face made me reach out towards him.

"Mason..." He looks deep into my eyes and whisper. "I think I'm in love with you, hell, I think I was always in love with you. We just needed to find each others souls."
I smiled the biggest smile before jumping into his arms and kissed him. "Get a room," Amelia shouts out and we broke apart laughingly.

After a few drinks Amelia, Melissa and I went to the dancefloor and started dancing. A few guys started dancing very close to us and the next instance I was in Mason's arms. "Mine," he growls into my ear before crashing his lips onto mine.
