Part 37: Lucky

Author's POV

"Jungkook? Jungkook, wake up baby!" A soft voice spoke and gently shook his shoulder while Jungkook slowly opened his eyes.

"Ji-Jimin?" He asked sleepily and rubbed his eyes. Jiyoo's heart ached seeing her son in such a state.

"No dear. It's your eomma." She spoke as Jungkook looked at her with disappointed eyes. He glanced at Jimin who was still 'sleeping' peacefully. Jungkook sighed as he lowered his head and pressed a kiss onto Jimin's knuckles letting tears flow down.

"Please come back. I need you." He whispered sadly choking on his sobs. Jiyoo cried and left the room unable to hold her sobs.

"Jiyoo? What happened?" Minho asked worriedly hugging his wife tightly against his broad hard chest.

"I-I can't see J-Jungkook in s-such a s-state." She stammered fisting her husband's shirt wetting it. Minho cried and hugged her even tighter.

"Me too Jiyoo, me too." Minho whispered and kissed the crown of her head.

"Ma'am? Is Jungkook awake?" Jin asked softly yet worriedly seeing Jiyoo crying in her husband's chest. She sniffled and nodded. Jin bowed respectfully and entered the room seeing Jungkook resting his forehead on Jimin's hand while sobbing. Jin heart hurt. He placed the tray of food that he brought for Jungkook on the table and walked slowly not making any noise. He put a firm hand on Jungkook's shoulder making the latter look up at him with teary eyes.

"Hyung!" He exclaimed and wrapped his arms around Jin's waist and muffled his cries while Jin caressed Jungkook's silky hair letting crystal clear tears run down their cheeks.

"W-Will h-he be a-alright?" He stuttered wiping his tears with the back of his hand. Jin crouched to Jungkook's level and held his hand.

"Yes Jungkook. Jiminie will be alright. Why will he not? He has you. Us. Jungmin. Jungkook, Jimin has endured a lot ever since he got married to you." Jungkook widened his eyes, confused about the fact that how his hyung know so much.

"H-How?-"

"Tae told me everything. Kook, Jimin, he is a great guy. Who knew he would fell in love with you on the first day of marriage where you pretty much abused him. He-He went through everything with a smiling face. He never gave up on you even though knowing that you loved Seoyun. You mistreated him. Abused him. Cursed him. Yet he loved you with all his heart. He's a beautiful man. He could easily leave you for another man who would love him but first true love is very difficult to forget. You're very lucky to have him in your life Jungkook. He is stronger than what he seems. He gave birth to your son, Jungmin and your daughter, Minjung. You-You should stay by his side Jungkook. Don't ever give up. You hear me? Don't ever give up. He's really fragile especially in this state. You shouldn't breakdown. If you did, who will take care of Jungmin?" By now, Jungkook was in tears.

"I know hyung. I know. And you're absolutely right hyung. I'm not gonna give up so easily on my Jimin. I-I already hurt him a lot and-and I repent. I really really regret everything I done. I'm going to give him lots of love and care and Jungmin... He is one of the best thing that ever happened to me. How I wished Minjung would be alive." He choked on his sobs and wiped his fallen tears.

"I just want Jimin back." He whispered and glanced at Jimin who was still sleeping. Deep down, Jungkook knew it's not now he's gonna wake up. Jin got up and hugged him tightly to which Jungkook hugged back.

"Now come on. Stop with this crying. Jimin wouldn't like it if he was here. You haven't eaten anything since this morning. Eat something ok? What if Jimin wakes up and sees you so weak and all. He won't like it a bit." By the time Jin stopped his rambling, the tray of food was on Jungkook's lap. He looked at the food feeling his stomach rumbling. He sure was hungry. He nodded and dug into the food and moaned at the deliciousness of the warm food.
