Part 42: Panic Attack

Author's POV

"Mr Jeon's awake." Jungkook's eyes lit up as soon as those words echoed in each and every corner in his mind and heart. He got broken from his trance by a warm liquid gliding down his smooth cheek. He glanced at Taehyung who had his 2 rows of teeth on full display, while tears was falling freely down. Jungkook lightly pushed the nurse and barged into Jimin's room to see him laying on the bed, with his eye open with a panicked expression while Namjoon was standing beside him with a specific paper in his hand, checking Jimin's previous records.

"Jimin..." Jungkook whispered but it didn't go unheard as both Namjoon and Jimin looked at him. Namjoon beamed with happiness while Jimin held a confused look on his face, his panicked expression decreased a little but not completely.

Jungkook walked slowly towards Jimin, forgetting about Namjoon as tears blurred his view as he took in the features of Jimin. His blond hair was messy due to sleeping. His eyes were opened half-lidded, they were filled with happiness and an emotion which couldn't be deciphered by Jungkook. His cheeks were hollow and his lips were as plump as they were always, the natural pink was slowly coming back. He seemed to have lost a lot of weight. These thoughts itself brought fresh tears to his eyes.

When he finally reached Jimin's bed, he placed his hand over Jimin's hair and lightly stroked it as he brough his free hand to Jimin's cheek, softly caressing him as he burst into tears and hugged Jimin tightly, wetting Jimin's hospital gown. Jungkook pulled away and place short sweet pecks all over Jimin's face.

"W-Whe-" Jimin didn't get time to talk nor to react when Jungkook spoke.

"I missed you so much Jimin. I love you so fucking much. Please forgive me. I will always keep you happy. Don't leave me again Jimin." Jungkook panted, his words spoken after each pecks that he gave Jimin.

"W-Who are y-you?!"

Jk hoes.

"Ji-Jimin, I-I'm s-so sorry. I-" His rambling was cut off by his own hiccups. He plopped himself onto the chair next to Jimin's bed.

"I-... M-My babies.. W-Where are my babies...?!" Jimin panicked, getting up searching for his babies frantically.

"J-Jimin, calm down I-"

"No! Jungkook tell me!! Where are my babies?! Where are they?! D-Did they- No no! Jungkook, please!" Jimin pleaded completely panicking about losing his babies in the car 'accident'. Of course he remembered everything. He remembered the pain he felt in his abdomen, the pained expression on Jungkook's face. Blood. Sweat. Tears. Rain. He remembered every single thing. He couldn't bear the fact that he lost his babies which he didn't.

"Jungkook, call your parents and bring Minjung and Jungmin. Jimin is having a panick attack." Jungkook nodded worriedly and fished his phone out of his pocket before dialling Jiyoo's number.

"E-Eomma, I-I don't have time to explain, just come to the h-hospital with Minnie and Baby J. J-Jimin's awake." Jiyoo was about to reply but Jungkook hung up on her, caring about his Jimin only. Jimim was shouting out for his babies while trying to get up as Namjoon tried to keep him down but couldn't. Jungkook tried to reassur Jimin that his babies were okay but the younger male wasn't having any until he sees them.

Hearing the commotion inside, Taehyung and several nurses barged in. While the nurses rushed to Jimin trying to keep him on the bed, Taehyung stayed frozen on his spot, seeing his bestfriend in such a state.
