Chapter 10

"...It's going to have to be Gilinsky. Duh! I mean look at him!" I said motioning my hand towards him. He is pretty hot but I wouldn't date him. I've noticed that Isabel has been stating at him the whole night and he's been looking at her when she isn't looking. They would be so cute together! we played a few more rounds then went to our rooms. Chris left after the game but I got his number before he did. I'm laying on my bed currently just staring at the ceiling when I start to get hungry.

"Hey. Do y'all want to go get some food with me? I'm hungry." I said looking at the other girls. They all nodded.

"I'll put us and the guys all in a group chat and ask them." Said Mahogany. I just noticed that Ally is being very quiet and shy. I wanted to know what was wrong.

"Ally, can I talk to you for a second in the hallway?" I asked. She nodded and walked out without saying a word. This isn't like her. I walked out and closed the door behind me.

"What's wrong? you've been all shy and quiet today. This isn't like you." I said.

"Can we talk somewhere else?" she whispered. Ally whispered so something is definitely wrong. I nodded and told the girls we were going to the lobby. Ally and I walked to the elevator and got it. Since we were on the 12th floor it took a minute to get down to the lobby. We finally got there then walked to the hotel restaurant and found a table in the back corner where no one else was. We sat down and just looked at each other for a minute. She took a deep breathe then began speaking.

"I uhm....I like Carter. Not a friend like but I like like him." she said slowly. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I stared at her with wide eyes and my mouth slightly open. She began looking worried and start panicking. I regained focus and started speaking.

"Wow. I-I don't know what to say. How long have you had a crush in him?" I asked.

"About 2 months." she said. WHAT? 2 MONTHS? I stared at her in disbelief.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I almost yell with a smile spreading on my face. In my opinion they would be the cutest couple. I SHIP IT!

"I don't know. I was worried I guess." She looked down and started messing with the white tablecloth.

"There's nothing to be worried about Ally. You could've told me. To be honest I ship it." I said with a smirk. She looked up at me and began laughing. I started laughing too. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out and read over the text.

From Mahogany: we're headed down now and eating at the hotel restaurant.

To Mahogany: okay. Ally and I are already here so just come to the back corner table.

Seconds later everybody showed up. Luckily, since we chose the back table, it just happened to be the largest table and could fit all of us. They all sat down and began talking. On my left was Ally and on my right was Shawn. On the other side of Ally say Carter. Awwwww! they're so cute! I mentally said. They were talking which left only Shawn and I not talking so I started the conversation.

"Hi!" I said really happy and perky. He chuckled a little then spoke.

"Hey."

"Sooooo?" I said more like a question.

"Sooooo what?" he asked obviously confused.

"Don't tell me you forgot?" I say and then cover my heart and begin fake crying. He began laughing and so did I. His laugh was cute.

"Sorry babe but I did. What did I forget again?" be asked. My heart fluttered when he called me that. When an attractive guy calls me babe it just has this affect on me.

"Oh duet! duh!" I said then lightly smacked his arm. He smiled widely which made me smile more.

"Of course! how about after we eat dinner?" he asked. I nodded my head in response.

"Hey Jacob! did you hear that?" he yelled across the table. Jacob turn his head and looked at Shawn. He shook his head no then Shawn started laughing.

"I get the first duet with Brooke so HA!" He said and I laughed.

"But broooooke!" Jacob whined. I laughed even harder because he sounded like a little kid.

"Sorry Jacob. I promise we can sing together tomorrow." I said still slightly laughing. Jacob smiled then stood up and did a little happy dance which made all of us laugh. He sat back down and we all continued our conversations. After a few minutes of talking we all went up to the buffet and filled our plates. We all sat back down and dug in. It was really good. Slowly, we all finished then went back upstairs where everybody piled into my room. Great. Just great.
