Rose P.O.V

We were all back at the house, I was standing outside of my house along with Dan, I saw my mom start to go inside. My ears went down a bit.

"Rose? You okay?" I felt Dan touch my arm with his arm, he wrapped it around my shoulder and pulled me to him. I giggled a bit and my ears went up. "I'm alright Dan. Just- shocked." He looked at me, "I bet. I mean, I-I would be too, your mother just literally came back from what was presumed dead." I looked up back to the house. "Yeah.."

"What do you think your dad will do?" I heard him ask with concern in his voice. I looked down, "I-I don't know to be honest. I can't tell... After what he's done to me all these years... I don't know what he's going to do. I don't even know how he's going to react when he sees my mother..." I looked up at him, he looked at me with worry. "I'm sure he'll take it well Rose." He turned me to him and wrapped his arms around my back. I felt my face heat up.

"Rose, can I ask you something...?" I looked up at him, "You can ask me anything Dan." I saw his cheeks turn a faint red. My cheeks heated up a bit.

"W-will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled up at him. I brought his face down and pressed my lips to his. I felt him kiss back. I pulled apart from his face.

"Yes! Of course I will!" I said with excitement. His eyes lit up immediately. "Really?!" He said with his ears up. I nodded repeatedly. He pulled me close to him and hugged me.

"I love you Rose."

I smiled and hugged back, "And I love you too Dan." We pulled apart and kissed again.
