Dan P.O.V

Me, Sushi and Ben were just outside of Rose's house, I had Rose's headband in my hands. I looked at it with soft eyes, then I looked back up to my siblings. Sushi nodded, and so did Ben, I was nervous. I knocked on the door.

Rose P.O.V

My ears perked up a bit at the door being knocked on, my dad whipped around and stared at the door. He got close to me. "You stay right there, I'm not finished yet." I nodded shakily as I saw him stand up and walking towards the door.

Oh please don't let it be Dan... my ears went down in worry.

Dan P.O.V

I stood back a bit awaiting the door to open. Then it slammed open and I saw her dad.

"Uh hello sir, I just wanted to return this t-" He glared at me in the eyes. "Why the fuck do you have my daughter's headband!?" I froze up. "U-uh, sh-she left it at our h-house s-sir!" My ears went back and he snatched it out of my hands. I saw Rose stand up out of the corner of my eye. She looked at me with tear stained eyes, and then I noticed something... she was shaking, had a cut on her lip, and a purple bruise on her cheek, her hair was messed up as well.

"I would appreciate if you wouldn't talk to my brother like that." I heard my brother say. Her dad just glared at them. I looked back to Rose, she looked at me with worried eyes.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to finish my uh, work." He turned around to Rose, then he slammed the door.

"I told you to stay there!"

"Dad stop! Please!"

I banged on the door again. "Leave her alone! She hasn't done anything wrong!!!" I looked back at Sushi, she went up to the door and kicked it open. Her dad looked back and Rose was in a corner with the most terrified look I've ever seen on her face...

Rose P.O.V

I saw Dan looking at me in the doorway, my dad whipped his head around and glared at everyone, Sushi, Ben, and Dan. He started to approach Dan, Dan backed up outside of the house. I stood up with shaky legs, ran and grabbed my dad's arm, "Don't hurt him! Please!" He glared back at me and shoved me back into the wall. He put his hands around my neck and pushed me against it.

"Don't you dare speak to me like that."

I saw Ben pull him away from me, and Sushi punched him, knocking him out onto the ground. I stood there with my ears down, tail still between my legs. I looked back up and saw Dan run to me, and he embraced me. tears started streaming down my face again. I hugged him back. He released from the hug and looked at me.

"What did he do to you..? Are you okay?" I looked down at the ground, "I-I'm alright... Just, i-in pain... I g-guess..." Sushi turned to me. "We'd better get that taken care of, it looks bad. I'll call 911 to take your dad to jail." I held my hand up to my cheek and winced. Then I suddenly felt light headed and swayed to the left, Dan caught me before I fell to the ground.

"Woah.. take it easy Rose..." He picked me up bridal style, I just clung onto his neck, feeling safer and relaxed...

I was going to be okay. As long as he's here.

WOO! Another chapter done! Everything seems to be going well now for the gang, with Rose's father going to jail, she's going to be okay.

But little did any of them know what was going to happen in their future... Will everyone be okay? Or will something happen that's going to make them become closer then they ever were before?
