Why can't people be happy
Why do parents have to be all controlling
Forcing religious on their kids.
Telling them how to live their
Never ask how happy they are while doing it
Practically picking out their kids future life
Future spucse
Future job
No wonder so many cracks
So many have anxiety
Or even depression.
Why can't you let me be difference
Why you got to it fight
I was born this way
This asks for the things that are difference
But wouldn't change for anything
Why can't just be happy
I know you might not agree with everything
I do
But can't you do me one thing
Just let me be happy
It, not my life your ruining
It's not my life your helping either
Your just tearing us apart
I am moving farer and farer away from you everyday
Your making the seam bigger by the day
The farer you go down the hole
The harder it is to climb up
Better hurry before it too late
You better climb like nobody claimed before
If you ever want to fixed your wrong doing
Ain't getting any young
Can't wait around for you to change your mind
That much longer.
Why can't you just let me be happy
If you truly care about me
Why do you listen to a book more then me
Tell me I'm the problem
Expect me to change every differnce
Why you never let me be happy
Let me be me
I'm not the perfect child you wanted
The ones that wants everything you do
Willing to be a puppet doing whatever you wanted
In our game of chess
I'm not a robot
You should see
Why can't you let me chose
My future
My life
Who I marry
Why can't I decide
Why can't I be happy?
Even if mean marrying same gender
Not going to church of any kind
It not hurting
In anyway
So why can't I be happy?
