The weather was perfect. The wind blew in my hair, and cooled my skin. The sun was setting, and was writing its colours for the world to see. It's was the perfect time to secretly get away from the castle. I had told my father I was going to take Fern for a ride, which was partially the truth.
My white horse ran through the trees, racing the brown horse beside her.
"You can't catch me princess!" Deeks yelled ahead. I laughed out loud.
"Don't underestimate a Princess," I paused and tugged on the reins. "Lets go, Fern!" I yelled. My horse began to pick up speed, and eventually passed Deeks's horse. I slowed down at the edge of forest, overlooking other parts of the kingdom. I got off Fern, and waited for Deeks to catch up. It took him a whole two minutes.
"Fern is one fast horse!" Deeks said hopping off his own. I started to pet Fern's nose. I glanced over at Deeks, and I could tell something was troubling him.
"Is there something wrong, Sir Deeks? Something seems to be bothering you." I asked curiously. He sighed and climbed back onto his horse. I followed his lead, and we began to slowly ride back the way we came.
"I'm just not sure this is a good idea, your highness. You're engaged." He said. I could see the worry in his eyes, he cared about me, I could tell.
"Sir Deeks, I feel nothing towards my so called "fiancé". I would rather die than marry someone I do not love. Besides, I'm afraid I have feelings for someone else." I said with a smile. I could feel Deeks' smile. It can brighten the world, and make everyone smile back.
"And what would this lucky mans name be?" He asked. I laughed.
"He has an interesting name, and he's a knight. A handsome knight at that." I stated.
"It's Lancealot, isn't it!! He's handsome and strong, has that funny name, and he's a knight." Deeks said sadly.
"That's where you're wrong, Sir Deeks," I paused, but decided to be straightforward. "I have feeling for you."

It had been two hours since I stupidly let my emotions get the best of me. I was startled by Nell, my servant walking through my doors.
"What is it, your highness?" She said with a bow. I nervously ran my hand through my hair.
"Nell, I've done something terribly wrong!" I said, throwing myself onto my bed. I stared at the ceiling, my hands intertwined on my stomach.
"What have you done?" Nell carefully asked, taking a seat beside me. I sat up and looked into Nell's hazel eyes.
"Sir Deeks and I," I paused, scared to finish my sentence. "We kissed" I finished. She looked at me in shock.
"You what?" She said with a giggle. I chuckled back.
"Shh!! My father and brother cannot know of this!" I replied putting a finger to my lip.
"What did he say?" Nell asked grabbing my hands. I could replay the moment in my head over, and over again.
"I have feelings for you." I stated. I immediately knew I had made a mistake. I started to blush.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about, Kensalina. It's actually perfect, because..." He paused, and looked down at his reins. "I feel the same way towards you." He said shyly.
I smiled and hopped off Fern. I started to make my way back to the stables.
"Where are you going? Kensalina?" He asked throwing himself off his horse.
"I must report back to the castle, Sir. My father would know something's up if I'm not back in time for dinner." I continued my way to the stables, when he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him.
"Before you go," he said before he pulled me into a kiss. We broke, forehead touching, and smiling.
"I love you, Kensalina of Camelot. And I will fight for you." He said before climbing back onto his horse, and riding into the sunset.
"He kissed you?" Nell repeated quietly. I blushed.
"I think I love him, Nell!! I can't help it!" Tears started to flow, it broke my heart knowing I could never be with the man I love.

"Kensi, you've barely touched your dinner!" My father stated. I was staring at my 3 month old nephew, and wondered what it would be like to have a child with Deeks.
"I'm not very hungry, Father." I said attempting to eat a piece of meat. I sat in my chair quietly, until baby Samuel started to cry.
"Please excuse me." Callen's wife said as she left to calm down Samuel. My father aggressively threw down his fork.
"What is wrong with you Kensalina Marie Blye?" My father yelled. I was thrown of guard by my full name being used. I've never heard my father yell before.
"I don't feel well, Father!! I feel sick," I said calmly. Callen looked at me like I killed someone.
"Are you pregnant?" He asked. I looked at him with an angry look.
"Why would you think that, Callen?" I asked dropping my fork. It clattered against the plate.
"ENOUGH!" My father stood up, his face as red as blood.
"Go to your room, Kensalina. NOW!" He slammed his fist down on the table. Tears were pouring down my face. I ran out of the room, and headed towards the stables. I could hear my father yelling my name. I was going for a ride, and I may never return.
