Ganon and Link continued to spend time togeather, they liked each other after all
And somehow link even convinced zelda to let ganon live in a part of the castle so he wouldn't have to go so far to garudo town to get to him, and while Ganon was at the castle, he would clean it up the best he could and try to keep order there when zelda went out or ran errands
This went very well for awhile
Unfortionetly while ganon was reading a book one day in his room he noticed in element he was not formilliar with
It was called "Malice"
He was curious how it worked so he asked a guard to come experiment with it alongside him
It went, instantly bad
The guard was overtaken by rage and had to be put in the dungeon until he was cured
Ganon felt bad about this but continued experimenting with it
In almost a years time he ended up being consumed by the evil Malice which made him crave more power and control over hyrule like before
But he was losing himself as well and Hyrule was stricken everywhere with the malice and even the guardians were possessed by this powerful force
Champians were named to protect the lands and stop the malace but they fell defeated from its power
Link was requested to stop this, to talk ganon out of this and he saw himself that he couldn't get through to the thing that he became, Calamity Ganon
He went and fought for as long as he could,Almost defeated
Princess zelda then telaport him away and sent him into a 100 year slumber to heal his wounds so he could fight another day
