A change of pace

It was a bright sunny day in the smash verse, everyone was having a get togeather and hanging out on a grassy plane, zelda and link where sitting on a hill chatting and laughing about Links struggles during his adventures which even he was laughing abit about even if he was alittle embarrased. Gannon walked up to the gathering with a timid frown on his face holding his hands togeather, he was a villain! How could he just be accepted here after the horrible things he had done? These thaughts worried him,
He eventually spotted the two hylians on a small grassy hill on the plane and looked down and slowly crept up to them
Zelda stopped taking and looked up at him in a state of concentration, she has had her fair share of troubles with Ganon and she was not going to deal with new ones
Link stopped after seeing zelda lose his gaze and he looked behind him and saw ganon
Ganon looked at them both: hello
Link responded with a hello as well but he was no longer smiling since he was preparing himself for anything that might happen atleast he felt he was
Ganon then closed his eyes and clenched his shirt
I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for
All of the chaos I've caused! All the horrible things I've done! It is inexcusable...they were dastardly deeds
he looked down and whispered too quietly for zelda to hear
Could you forgive me?
He said in his regular tone afterwords
how could anyone forgive me
He was about to take a step and turn to leave when link shot up and seemed to charge him
But it was strange
The young man had his arms around him and he was
Smiling?
Link happily replied
I forgive you! I'm glad to see you trying to change instead of being a huge dorf
he grinned like a wild child on a summers day
That was a face of pure joy
Ganon had never experienced this before so he stood there for a moment with his arms open in shock but almost tried to do the same back
Until zelda stared daggers at him which made him decide to not do so completely
Link invited ganon to join them and requested that he sit
And ganon and him talked for awhile about there challenges and triumphs and fails but sometimes ganon would feel bad when he spoke about the things he did
Link would only return a comforting smile
Ganon made a small smile in response to this

At some point zelda had left, not trusting the situation
