Meanwhile, Nadiya and Jimin were about to catch up to them when they were distracted by the adjacent stand; the student in charge was hosting a guess-the-cup competition.
"Step right up! If you can guess which cup holds the dice ten times, you get a reward! Get it right twenty times and you win our grand prize - a very special, fabulous doll!"
The student gestured to the doll on the display. It was a cute and yellow dog-like creature: Chimmy!

Nadiya clutched her chest like a dame. "Oh my god, they have CHIMMY! I want that doll! I want it! I NEED it!"
Obediently, Jimin rolled up his sleeves. "If you want it so bad, then I'll win it for you!"
Embarrassed, Nadiya stared at him and blushed. "It's okay! I feel bad letting you do all the work. Let me give it a try first!"
"If you say so." Jimin nodded and flashed her an understanding smile. Aww, her fervour is so cute.

Nadiya sat down in front of the host, who immediately started switching the cups around. His hands moved so fast that she became dizzy. But she concentrated.
Admirably, Nadiya got it right ten times. Her head was spinning by then. Unfortunately, her eleventh attempt ended in failure as she pointed at the wrong cup.
"I'm afraid that's no go," declared the host, lifting the cup to reveal that it was empty. Nadiya's face crumpled with disappointment. The host got up cheerfully. "Fret not, miss! Since you got it right ten times, you still earn our second prize."
He returned with something unexpected.
