Beaming, Nadiya capered all the way to the gym. As a result, she made it there in good time.
Jimin and a few other members had already arrived. Nadiya had to stop to catch her breath – not because she was tired, but because Jimin was looking super hot in a gym shirt and running shorts.
"Hi, Nadiya," he said, greeting her with a friendly wave. "Why haven't you changed yet?
Nadiya, who was waving back, looked down at her blouse and skirt. Come to think of it, she didn't have any PE clothes.
Or did she?
Nadiya set down her bag and searched the contents. There were two sets of PE outfits her size. She took one out and studied it in bemusement.
"The toilet's in the corridor to the right," Jimin told her. "Try not to take too long – we'll be starting our warm ups soon."
Nadiya wasn't big on exercising, but she would willingly climb Mt Everest if it meant that Jimin was with her.
After changing, Nadiya rejoined the group. The members had already lined up, with Jimin facing them at the front. There were more girls than boys. In fact, the boys Nadiya had seen with Jimin in the cafeteria seemed to comprise the only males of the club.
It seemed that BTS's stylist had been right – Jimin was really popular with the chicks.
Nadiya positioned herself as close to the front as she could. She could see the distinct shape of Jimin's arm muscles, and suddenly the dread of having to exercise vanished. Now she felt like she could take on any work out Jimin threw at them.
"All right, let's start our warm ups!" announced Jimin.
The group did jumping jacks, lunges, extremity rotations and other general exercises. Right after that, Jimin declared thirty laps around the gym.
"Those who want music, wire up and hustle!" he ordered.
Nadiya was confused. Then she saw some of the members taking out their phones or iPods with earpieces attached, and plugging one into an ear. Nadiya guessed they left one ear open so they could hear Jimin's voice.
The Captain had one jammed into his left ear as well. He held his phone in his hand as he jogged out to the corridors on the outskirts of the gym, and Nadiya could see that he was charged up.
"Let's go, go, go!"
The whole club ran as a human chain with Jimin in the lead. After fifteen laps, Nadiya wanted to give herself up to the floor. When was the last time she had exercised? When she was running late for an interview?
