"Nathan?" I said as he entered my room unannounced.
"We need to talk." He said as he closed the door behind him.
"Yeah??" I said as I sat on my bed crisscrossed, and patted the place near me for him to sit.
"I want you to know that I will do anything to protect you, and I can't thank you enough for what you did."
"No need to thank me Nathan, I did what any sane person would do."
"Yes I know, but I have to ask you if you don't mind. What happened there? I mean at Alexis's place:"
I gulped as he asked me this question, "I- At the first few weeks, Alexis treated me like shit. Cause I did kill one of his members, but then he made me one of his people. He has done stuff to me that I can't talk about, he was so ruthless. I hated him for that. A lot. Sometimes when he comes back home pissed he used to hit me and punch me, but I couldn't hit him back.
