I met up with my friend Claire today. We went to get coffee downtown at a place called, "The Coffee Bean". It has this sort of hipster vibe to it and when I walked in I was hit with a strong, bitter smell. Everyone inside smelt strongly of cologne. Not going to lie, the coffee was actually to die for. I think I just might become a regular there.
While we were there, Claire mentioned something about a party. When I asked more about it, she said that it would be big. Almost the size of our entire school. I told her that I was a bit apprehensive and I wasn't too sure. It especially worried me when she told me to not to tell my parents about it. In the end I reluctantly agreed as Claire seems to be the only person who can make me agree on ANYTHING. We left The Coffee Bean with her telling me that the date would be July 13th. The only thing I worry is how the hell I'll get out of my house in the first place. Do I lie to my parents? Tell them it'll be a small party? Or worse, just sneak out.
