The sweat was dribbling down the front of his face, his arms moving with such force, sending the sound blaring through the speakers to the back of the arena. His face was in a constant smile that simply showed how much he loves what he does. Each note that came out of his mouth was tuned to perfection and it only made me heart warm even more.
And the fact that he didn't know I was here made me even more excited.
"Thank you so much for having us you guys! We love you lots!" Ashton's voice called out, signalling the end of the show.
My palms began to sweat as I stood up, itching to see the guy that made my heart beat faster and skin tingle. A loud bunch of laughs came from the corridor letting me know that they were on their way. Before I knew it, the door swung open and the group of sweaty boys came bundling in. My eyes skipped over the first three boys, finally landing on him. His face was neutral until his eyes met mine, freezing a little in disbelief before lighting up, a huge smile breaking out on his face.
"Lois!" He yelled, running over.
"Hey Luke!" I giggled as I was swept up off my feet into his arms.
The arms that I have been aching for to hold me for so long. The arms that brought me comfort and excitement at the same time.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He asked, letting me down but keeping his hands placed firmly on my hips.
"I'm here to see Mikey." I answered, my face completely serious. Luke's face dropped, like a puppy that had been wounded.
"Wait what?" He asked, his eyes searching my face curiously.
I couldn't hold it in anymore and let out a laugh.
"I'm kidding! Of course I'm here to see you, you idiot!" I laughed, my fingers running through his hair.
A relieved look washed over his face before he took mine in his hands, crashing our lips together. It was rushed, messy kissed filled with everything was had wanted to say over the past few months but never had the chance. It was filled with all the emotion that I had been bundling up from not being able to see each other, to feel each other's skin, just to be around one another.
"I've missed you so much." He whispered into the kiss.
I opened my mouth to reply but was cut off by something soft hitting me in the face. I pulled away from Luke and raised my eyebrow to a slice of bread by my feet. Looking up I saw Calum pouting.
"Can we keep it PG please?" He laughed.
Luke simply flipped him off, emitting a giggle from my mouth. His hands came back to my face, pulling me back into the kiss. But just before our lips reconnected, Calum spoke again.
"Hey guys?"
"What Calum?" Luke asked, looking annoyed.
"Can I have my bread back?"
The air was silent for a while before Luke began to chuckle softly, making the rest of us smile. He bent down to pick up the slice of bread, throwing it back hitting Calum square in the face.
I loved this boy and there was nothing, especially not distance that could change that.
