"I still don't understand why the princess is so protective of him." Sean spoke softly as walked with Adrian to the dining room to eat dinner. It simply did not make sense to him how the princess went from being disgusted by Sean and wanting him out of the house, to being overly protective of her neko. She had nearly stabbed Adrian for merely toying with him and to Sean that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.  Adrian glanced back at him, amusement twinkling in his eyes.

"The boy caught her attention and she bought him. He is now her property and she is like me. She doesn't like people touching what is hers." He explained causing Sean to scowl deeply as they entered the dining room.

"I'm not your property." He mumbled as Adrian pulled the chair out, allowing the boy to sit beside him before he sat as well.

"Really now?" Adrian raised an eyebrow as he turned, grabbing Sean's chin firmly before slowly leaning in close to the boy. Sean sucked in a breath as the male neared him until he could feel Adrian's hair tickling his brow. The master stared into his eyes for a moment before he smirked, leaning to whisper in his ear.
"You belong to me, kitten." He nipped his ear before pulling away as Sean glowered at him.

"You didn't pay for me and therefore technically I do not." Upon seeing Adrian's amused smirk he rolled his eyes, knowing he wouldn't win this one.

"I may not own you, but do not make me remind you in what way you are mine." Sean flushed, knowing very well what he was insinuating. His body had already submitted to Adrian it seemed, even when his mind did not. In his mind, he still wanted his freedom. But he couldn't deny he was growing to enjoy being with Adrian. He had a small bit of freedom he hadn't had before. He didn't fear for his life anymore. It was as Quinn said, he didn't have to run anymore. Now, he was free to roam the castle, the only thing that kept him from being completely free was his attachment to Adrian. It was as the prince said, he belonged to him, even if the neko wished to refuse it with every fiber in his being.
"Here, eat." Adrian chuckled lowly as the maids came out with the food. Sean's mouth watered as a rare steak was placed in front of Adrian and a well-done was placed in front of him. There was also a side corn cob which was most likely fresh.

"Is this whole thing for me?" Sean glanced at Adrian and then back down at the mouth-watering food in front of him. It was large, yet not nearly as big as his master's was, and it was extremely appealing.

"Yes, I figured it was time we put some meat on those bones." Adrian chuckled softly as he lightly pinched Sean's thin waist causing the boy to scowl and push his hand away. He then turned back to his food, glancing at Adrian who watched with a raised eyebrow.
"What is it?" He questioned and Sean chewed on his lip.

"I've never actually had to use silverware before." He mumbled and Adrian raised an eyebrow, thinking back to what the boy had been eating when with him. It had mostly been small sandwiches and it was then Adrian realized that the boy was not educated in table etiquette.

"Quinn informed me you don't know how to read either." He spoke calmly as he reached over the boy and cut the steak into small bites for him. Sean watched before he stared down at his hands, nodding. Being a neko, he had never received any sort of education aside from what his mother had been trying to teach him.

"I was never taught." He whispered, jumping when he felt fingers brush his hair out of his face.

"You don't need to be so ashamed." Adrian sighed as he cut his own steak before beginning to eat.
"A lot of nekos are uneducated. The only reason Quinn can read is because I hired a tutor for him. I can teach you as well if you wish to learn. Etiquette, reading, writing, it's all fairly simple to teach. But I'll only teach you if you are going to take the time to learn. I have no intention of wasting my time." Sean was staring at him, letting the information sink in before his eyes lit up.
