Chapter 13

"Buy her." Sean spoke quietly as he stared at the female being shown below them. Adrian frowned, looking down at him.

"What?" He asked causing Sean to frown.

"Buy her!" He said quickly, more urgently as he saw the numbers climbing quickly. When Adrian did not move to hit his bidding button, Sean quickly slammed his hand down on it.

"Sean!" Adrian snapped but he was outbid. Shaking his head, Sean hit the button again, this time to a much higher button. The biding stopped and he could feel the dangerous glare of Adrian on him. His eyes were focused on the female trembling below, however.

"For the love of- Sean you had better have a damn good excuse." Adrian growled dangerously as he was announced the winner and the girl was taken away. Sean quickly turned his gaze to Adrian's and he could now see just how angry the male was.

"I-I'm sorry." He stuttered as Adrian roughly grabbed his wrist. Sean glanced at Julian desperately, knowing this could not end well but the older brother simply sighed as he was dragged into the empty hall.

"What the hell was that, Sean?" Adrian snapped as he pushed the boy against the wall roughly.

"A-Adrian, calm down. Please, I'm sorry." He whispered, looking up at him with pleading eyes.

"Calm down? Calm down?!" Sean winced at the raise in his voice.

"You just spent a good half a million on that girl. Now you had better have a damn good reason as to why." Adrian's eyes blazed with anger as he stepped closer to the boy.

"I do." Sean whispered, lowering his head. This time, Adrian had every right to be mad at him but he had not been able to stop himself.
"Plesse, Adrian. She is my best friend. She is like a sister to me, the only family I had on the streets." He kept his voice low, looking up to meet Adrian's eyes.
"She is the same to me as Julian is to you. I would do anything to protect her. And if you want to punish me for that, go ahead. I get it. But I couldn't let her be sold off to a man who would do nothing but rape her and torture her. She is very important to me. My best friend, we looked out for each other." He breathed. He could tell Adrian was still angry as the man scowled down at him before roughly grabbing his chin and pressing a rough kiss to his lips. Sean whimpered softly as he nipped his lip hard enough to draw blood.

"Oh, I will definitely be punishing you tonight." He muttered, leaning down and roughly biting into Sean's neck. He gasped, his knees buckling as Adrian began to suck. He winced as the male was much rougher than usual but the aphrodisiac did a great job distracting him from that.
"Very well, let's go get my new pet." Adrian pulled away with a scowl as he wiped his lips. Sean looked up at him, his eyes brightening. Adrian could have refused, telling the owner it was a disobedient pet and she would have been sent to the next highest bidder. Adrian disappeared into the room where Julian was, returning with a check which he placed into Sean's hands.
"If she causes trouble, I am bringing her back. No ifs, ands, or buts." Sean nodded quickly before pouting as a leash was attached to his collar. Adrian had assured him it was for his safety before and he believed him. The auction house was crowded and dangerous, Julian had refused to even bring Zafie. He gave a soft sigh, sticking right behind Adrian as he led the way down into the basement area. A place Sean knew well as where they kept the slaves. His jaw clenched as they passed a couple of the 'pets' in cages. Skinny, dead of life. He scooted closer to Adrian, grabbing the back of his jacket in one hand while his other firmly clutched the check. They entered a room that was much nicer than the one containing the cages. The pickup room where the pets were prepared for the masters. He saw they were tugging the dress material off of the female with red hair and looked to Adrian who spoke rather calmly.
