Chapter~ 32 'She Loves Him."

"D-dad?" Jessica and I look at the fragile man in front of us. He was asleep on the very familiar hospital bed that only brought back horrid memories and was here for more and more.

Jessica looks at me, bawling her eyes off. I start crying as I look at her. I've said that way too many times and I don't mind saying it again, I despise seeing Jessica crying, hurt, and very broken. It's like I've been hung. It's like a thousand knives have been stabbed inside me all at the same time.

It's horrible.

"He's just peacefully asleep. Don't worry. He's just worn out. It was a very severe accident. He broke a few ribs, his left leg, and arm. He also had a deep cut just beneath his right ear. But that got stitched, so don't worry. He will be just fine. He just has to stay here for a few weeks until he's all healed and ready to help himself. We gave him painkillers just before he slept," a very young nurse told us, smiling sweetly. It send me positive, relaxing chills down my spine.

"Thank you." Jessica smiled back at her.

"I could call you whenever he wakes up, if you would like," she suggested.

"No, it's okay. I'll wait 'till he is."

"As you like. Do you want me to call your friends in here for a few minutes?"

"Yes, please."

The nurse gave her a small nod and walked out the door.

Two minutes later, the boys came in rushing. They kept on asking questions and I provided them with the answers. They let out a long breath that they'd been obviously keeping in for way too long.

My eyes were focused at Niall, the whole time. I could clearly see that he was the most concerned out of all the boys. He gently held Jessica's hands, stroking them with his thumbs. I literally smiled at the sweet gesture he gave her.

I hadn't realized I've been crying until I felt the taste of tears. I'm so happy for Jessica. I know that Niall loves her. I'm also a hundred and ten percent sure that she does, too. She just doesn't want to admit it.

She will, though. I know she will. She will when she's ready to.

"He's alright, I know it. He's probably having sweet dreams right now." He smiled at her, carefully hugging her. She smiled back at him widely.

She loves him.
