Chapter~ 37 'The News.'
"Jessica! Is the popcorn ready?" I yell loud enough for Jess to hear me from the kitchen.
"Almost! Did the musical start yet?" She yells back.
"No, an advertisement is on! But it will start in a bit. So, hurry!"
"It's not me that's taking a long time popping! Be patient! Jeez!"
It's the day of the musical. Sadly, we can't attend it. So we're watching it on National TV. And honestly, I'm having a hard time containing my patience.
What? I'm excited, 'kay? K.
"Here, but share." She gives me a warning glare, plopping down on the couch.
I take a handful and shove it in my mouth. Jessica takes the bowl from me.
"If you're gonna eat like a pig, I'd rather have you make your own popcorn. Either that, or you eat like a normal human being." I frown at her description of me. She raises her eyebrows then shakes her head.
Oh, well.
The musical starts and we watch in awe.
It's brilliant. I mean every word. The boys did work hard and the performance was beyond perfect. I am impressed.
It ends in 2 hours. And I sheepishly clap, grinning from ear to ear.
Jessica laughs and claps as well.
"Wow. I can't believe it. This is officially the best musical ever." She looks at me, her eyes sparkling.
I nod in agreement. Then, I look back at the screen. The boys are bowing, wide smiles present on their perfect faces.
"I'm so proud of them." I wipe a fake tear from my eyes. Jessica yet again laughs and nods, shoving the last bit of popcorn into her mouth.
"Hey! I wanted this one!" I frown, hitting her.
She falls on her back, while I'm on top of her. I hit her with all the strength I have. She chews it, teasing me.
"You can have it." She opens her mouth.
"Ewe, no never mind." I jump from the couch.
"No, I insist. You may have the last piece if popcorn." She comes closer, her mouth still open. I scream in disgust.
"I said I don't want it. You're so disgusting!" I run away. She runs after me, into the bedroom.
"Ewe, ewe, ewe! Leave me alone, you ugly pig!" I scream and jump on the bed.
"Fine." She swallows the chewed popcorn.
I pretend to throw up in disgust. She just laughs it off and shrugs.
"So, when are the boys coming back?" She asks me. I grab my phone and check the screen.
"In about an hour. I might as well just take a shower until then. I can literally smell the salt on my body." I scrunch my nose.
"Same. See ya, loser." She winks at me and bounces her way to her room.
Ha! I'm the loser, now. Yeah right.
I head to the bathroom, willing to take a long, warm shower.

"So, we're starting the tour tomorrow." Liam sighs. They obviously all look so tired.
I don't even blame them.
"Yep," Niall says.
"Umm, girls? We have something to ask you." Zayn looks at us. The boys nod in agreement. I have a feeling this is important.
"Anything." Jessica smiles at Zayn, oblivious to the fact that this is something not easy.
Why do I always have to sense that something's wrong? Ugh.
Harry steps forward, holding both our hands. His eyes pleading for a yes. I started to get worried. This is obviously very important.
He takes a deep breath and starts talking, his head facing the floor.
"Well, you know we're starting the tour tomorrow. And it starts here, in London. So we were thinking about something. And thought it would be great. We just need your approval though. Izzy, Jess?" Harry looks up from the floor, back to us. He takes a deep breath then starts again.
"Will you..."
