All you could hear was the sound of footsteps running up the stairs.
Luke bursted though the door to find Melissa sitting on the floor with her head in her lap. ' Melissa what the hell happened' Luke said running over to her while Michael and Calum stood in the doorway while Sophie and Ashton checked out the other rooms.
' She took it, she took the book' Melissa said crying into Lukes chest. ' What, what do you mean 'she' took it, there was none in the house but us' Luke said looking at her as he removed the hair on her face.
' You dont get it Luke, the lady, she took the book' Luke looked at her confused when Ashton entered the room picking Melissa up and giving her a hug.
' None of this would of happened if you didnt take that book and hide it under the bed Luke' Melissa said turning around to him. ' What are you talking about Mel, i never took it' he said walking back.
' Then explain why it was under the covers then' she said turning back to Ashton whos arms were around her. ' What Luke, it was you, and people thought it was me' Ashton said.
' Look i swear i didnt have it!' he said walking out.
' Right well there is none else here, so Melissa can you tell me what happened' Sophie said walking in.
' Carley, we need to find her, she know this place' she said again. ' Well, know we can all agree this place is hunted, and we are going to have worse things then this if we dont get it sorted out' Michael said.
' Stop it Michael, just leave it' Sophie said turning around and shouting at him.
' What the hell Soph, whats up with you' Michael said sounding pissed off.
Sohie grabbed Melissa hand and pulled her out the room walking straight past Michael and not saying a word.
' Well, this is going well isnt it' Ashton said. ' Totally' Michael said walking out.
' Wait Michael. where did Calum go'.
