The rooms in the house stayed quiet till there was a scream, joined by another one, a horrible scream, that could make your ears hurt.
MICHAEL! MICHAEL HELP ME! One scream shouted from down the corridor.
' LUKE!!! LUKE GET IT OFF ME HELP ME! Another shouted.
In Sophies and Michaels room Sophie was half way across the floor, but she stopped when Michael woke and jumped out of bed and pulled Sophie up and into his arms pouring her eyes out in tears. ' Michael' she sobbed into his chest as stroked her hair looking around the room. ' Sophie, your leg is bleeding'
In Lukes and Melissas room Melissa was on the floor ecrying, her to had stopped moving as soon as Luke had woken up. He jumped out of bed and pulled Melissa close into his chest as they sat on the floor as Melissa cried into his arms. ' Luke, my leg its bleeding' she cryed showing him her leg.
Shortly after, Ashton appered in Luke and Melissas room as he sat down on the floor next to them both hugging Mellisa and Calum went into comfort Sophie.
They managed to get them downstaris and sat next to Charlotte that comforted them with a blanket.
Michael pulled Sophie into his arms as she rested her head on his shoulder as she was still crying. Next to her Luke was doing the same as Michael as he brushed Melissas hair with his fingers, she had calmed down, but she was while as ever. Ashton and Charlotte returned into the living room with a bowl of water to clean the girls ankles.
Nobody really understood what had happened, but both girls answered with the same answer.
' Some grabbed hold of my leg, and they pulled, and they pulled, i called for you and you woke up.....then they stopped'
Sophie began to cry again as Calum sat in the middle of them both.
After 10 minutes of cleaning everyones eyes were drawn to the stairs as a ball fell down it, one step at a time. Then tension in the room built as it hit the bottom step and rolled towards the door.
' Ummm guys, look at the marks on the girls ankels' Charlotte said stepping back.
