Once the men had their rest they suited up and began to move forward in the journey. They soon arrived at a forest.
"The trees are red!", Said one of the men
"They call it the Inferno Forest not only because of the colour but of what lies deep inside it" said Hagan looking up at the trees.
The men entered the forest with their weapons at the ready not knowing what might attack them. Once they reach deeper inside the forest Hagan begins to worry of what might attack them. He knows that the beast inside has also taken the side of the Harriett Children for the protection that they offer.
"So what exactly is this beast inside here?", Asked one of the men
"It my friend is a snake, a fire breathing cobra that burns its enemies to ash in seconds", Said Hagan looking around
"Should we be worried about that?", Said another soldier
"Yes very worried, it has taken the side of our enemies for their protection", Said Hagan
"Ah", Said the soldier in fear.
The men continued to walk in the Inferno Forest knowing that a beast may attack at any moment. That's what it did.
Out of nowhere the beast tried to eat one of the men but Hagan shot with his bow an arrow straight in its mouth. It immediately tried to shake it head around to try to take the arrow out.
Hagan pulled out another arrow and took aim to the snakes eye. before he could shoot the snake went up in flames and disappeared. then men were in shock not knowing if they have defeated it or not.
"Be at the ready men, it may reappear at any moment", Said Hagan aiming at the forest.
"Yes sir", Said the men in fear.
The men continue to walk through the forest and not stop for anything. They cannot risk being eaten alive when they are sleeping. The men are starting to become tired.
Hagan knows that the snake is watching them. He doesn't let his guard down at all. He is just waiting for the snake to appear and he will fire his poison dipped arrow.
The snake appears and is going for Hagan, he aims at the snakes head without fear. He fires the arrow, it flies through the air not making any sound. It hits straight in the middle of the eyes. The snake looks at him then drops dead on the ground of the forest.
The men hurry to the exit of the forest knowing that their lives have been saved from Hagan. They owe him everything. The men instantly get a chill stepping into the next biome of this crazed world. The look around and see it covered in snow.
Hagan begins to worry even more knowing that this next place is the worst of them all.
