Delilah's POV:

I hear somebody talking, I want to open my eyes but something is preventing me, where am I? Why does everything in my body hurt? Am I attached to chemos? I tried this before, it was the most painful thing I've ever felt, that's why I stopped taking them. You get laid back on a bed with lots of needles and medical equipments all over your body, every needle get a liquid to your blood, your whole body feels sore and the more you do this type of cure, the more your body feels numb and sore, I hate it so much, so I stopped taking it, I only take pills and once in month I do this type of treatment.

"Delilah, are you there? If you hear me move your hand." An unfamiliar voice spoke and held my hand, I wanted to move it so bad but I couldn't, I wanted to shout that I'm awake and I can hear them talking but no use, my body won't let me, my heartbeats get faster everytime I try to react to the voice speaking to me, I think I might die from the acceleration of it. So I stopped trying, when I stopped trying, my heart stopped beating.

Niall's POV:

"Mr. Horan, you should get out of here." The doctor told me as he pushed me outside the room Delilah was in.

I wanted so bad to know what was going on, why her heartbeats were so fast and suddenly slowed down? I stood behind the glass window so that I can see her, I think I'll call her parents, they can help. Quickly I searched my pockets to get her phone, yes I have her phone, thanks to the doctors.

Opening the lock surprisingly and thankfully there was no password, her homescreen caught my attention, her holding a bouquet of blood red flowers with a serious face and infront of her is, her obviously, but an older version, I think that's her mother, also the woman she was drawing at the park the day we first talked, her mother was laughing so hard ,holding Delilah's free hand. That by far is the cutest mother-daughter moment I've ever seen.

Wasting no more time, I clicked the contacts icon and 'Brother' was the first contact that got my attention, rapidly clicking call and waiting for him to pick up.

"Deli, where are you? Dad is worried sick and your phone was out of network." A rough australian accent spoke and you can sense the worry held in his voice.

'What am I gonna say? How would he react if he knew that his sister is in the hospital?'

"Uhh, I'm sorry to tell you, but Delilah is in the hospital." I said my teeth shaking from nervousness of his reaction, when I first saw him in the restaurant he looked like the guy who would punch anyone that hurt his sister, the overprotective type.

"What? Who are you? And why is Deli in the hospital? What did you do?" He asked/shouted.

"I'm Delilah's friend, and I swear I didn't do anythin-" I was cut my him groaning and taking deep breathes, "Just tell me where is she?" He asked clearly trying to calm himself down. I quickly gave him the directions to the hospital ,the floor and room she is in.

"Stay where you are." were the last words he said before hanging up.
I returned back to looking at the huge glass window of Delilah's room.

Looking at her pale, motionless figure made chills spread all over my body. I wouldn't wanna see anyone in this state, specially someone I care about.

Every moment related to Delilah running through my brain trying to reach a conclusion to what's happening now.

The restaurant, Zayn's speech about her, her father, the guys' warnings about staying away from her, the park, the woman she was drawing, her sudden feels of pain, the window chatting we did, the thing attached into her hand, her looks of not pushing that subject further, the walk, her hate for the rain.
