Chapter Seven:Alone

Toni POV

"Toni!" Ms Grundy calls out my name.

I turn to face her "Yes , Ms Grundy."

"Come and introduce yourself sweetie . I would love to know a little bit about you hun ." she says smiling at at me

"Oh okay ."

I walk in front of the class . Ms Grundy walks towards me and start rubbing on my shoulder

"Go ahead sweetie." As she walks to her desk.

I open my mouth to talk when Cheryl enters the room. All eyes focus on her . I mean duh that girl is something else. I really need to stop with this fantasy ,Cheryl doesn't even like me . I mean every time I see her she's rolling her eyes or glaring at me. Maybe Jughead was right maybe I need to leave Cheryl alone.

Plus she'll never go for me .she's to perfect and I come with a lot of secrets.which is not good for any relationship anyway .

"Blossom take your seat, you're interrupting Toni." Grundy says in her teacher voice .

"Yeah , whatever ." She says walking to her seat

"Go ahead sweetie you may continue."

"Well like I was saying ,my name is Toni Topaz. I was born in Greendale and I'm sixteen years old."

"That's fine Toni now can you tell us some of your hobbies?"

"I like to take pictures and." But
was interrupted by Cheryl saying "so what you like to take pictures of?"

I smirk " beautiful things.Such as yourself ." I say with a wink

I heard the class ooh while Cheryl blushed . What are they 5 years old

wait did I make Cheryl blush ?I thought to myself.

Ms. Grundy clear her throat. " okay Toni the charmer you can take your seat." She says

I walk towards Jughead and take a seat.

" okay class I'm going to take attendance and then we can get class started." Ms Grundy says
Going into her laptop to take roll.

"What was that all about?" Jughead ask

" what?" I ask clearly confused

"You flirting with Cheryl I thought I warn you about her .she's a ticking time bomb ."

"Calm down it's not that serious. Cheryl is a beautiful girl, you know."

"Yeah I no but." He started but I cut him off .I didn't like him talking about Cheryl in such a way.

"Forget that Tell me about my so call grandpa and uncle that you think in related to me. I want to no about  them."

"Oh well I my came across some information early today. When I found out your last name is Topaz . I quickly remember my dad saying something about the topaz's loyalty to serpents So long story short I did a little digging and found out somethings." He say starting to look at me worried.

"What did you find out?"I ask worried he find out about my secret.does he know? I thought to myself.

"Well I found out that you were actually born in Riverdale not Greendale." I look at him confused "what are you talking about?" I ask ,I'm so lost .

"Listen, I no this is hard to take in but your family are serpents member and you live in Riverdale. I guess you were to young to remember. But I talk to your grandfather for a while. He says he want to see his grandson." Jughead ended

My mind was all over the place. I didn't know what to think.All this time I thought I was alone.

The real question is "do I want to see him?does he know my secret? Why he abandoned me?" So many questions cross my mind .

When class was over I rush out .I didn't want to be bothered anymore.so I walk out of school

I heard Jughead calling my name but I kept walking.

As I was walking At least two blocks down the street i could hear heels clinking  behind me.I turn around to see Cheryl

"Why are you following me?" I question Cheryl stopping dead in my tracks

" I'm not I'm just getting some fresh air."

Yeah sure." I continue to walk when I hear heels again. "So where are you going?"

"Why you want to know?"I ask getting  aggravated

"I don't ."

"Then why ask?"I snap I'm getting tired of this girl

"Toni." She says softy I turn around to look at her face she was hurt and I felt a jerk

I walk towards and lift her head up . " I'm sorry Cheryl ." I say before taking off running. I just want to be left alone.
