Falling for you

The first encounter

Grayson Pov.

I wake up early at 6:00 a.m. to get ready for school. I leave my bed with my towel and head for the bathroom.

First, I brush my teeth for about 10 minutes and then I go into the shower for 30 minutes.

I get out when I see myself starting to get pruny. I go back into my room and head to my closet.

" what to wear? What to wear?" I asked to myself.

Then I found my outfit. I had chose a white and blue stripped shirt, a white jacket, blue pants, and blue toms.

When I am done, I look into the mirror to see if I need to change anything.

" looking good Gray, looking good." I said shyly.

After I am done, I go into my parents room and see that they are still asleep so I tip-toe out the room.

I didn't want to wake them.

I slowly walk downstairs and grab a granola bar from the kitchen. As I eat it I get my bookbag and leave the house.

I step outside.

" what a beautiful day." I said.

It was a chilly sunny Friday morning and I was excited to go to school because of the robotics club.

We meet every Thursday and Friday.

The school is 3 blocks away from my house, so I can always walk too and from school. 

I hate waking my parents up so early, they work so hard every day.

I finally arrive at school and head straight to my locker. As I was closing it, I heard someone yelling my name.

" GRAYSON" someone yelled.

I turned my head to see my friend Mayson running to me.

" hey Mayson." I said when he is near me.

Mayson waves.

The both of us walk upstairs to the 3rd floor to be the 1st people in art class.

When we get there Mrs. Rosa is sitting at her desk and she is looking at her phone looking bored.

" good morning Mrs. Rosa." I said.

" good morning Mrs. Rosa." Mayson said.

She looked at us.

" good morning boys, take a seat." She replied.

The two of us took our seats in front of the class to get ready to do a free draw since its Friday.

When the bell rung kids, came into the class and took their seats. Mrs. Rosa got up infront of the class.

" okay, okay settle down since today is Friday, you all can do a free day but it will be handed in and graded." She said.

So kids groaned and some cheered. I had groaned while Mayson cheered.

" I'm goigm to draw a butterfly in a meadow, what about you?" Mayson said.

I thought.

" I am going to draw a fish in a fish tank." I said.

Mayson nodded and he started drawing. I looked around for colored pencils and then started driving.

~ after school

I find my way back to the third floor to go to the library for robotics club. I saw Mayson, Abby, Anica, and Marvin.

" hey guys." I said.

The 4 of them looked up at me.

" Hey Grayson" Marvin said.

" Sup Gray" Mayson replied.

" Hello" Anica said shyly.

" Hi" Abby said quietly.

The 5 of us waited for our Trigonometry teacher Mr. Lossin to get here.

When he did we all sat down and waited for him to speak. I was looking around at the books.

" okay I want you guys to go back to your groups from yesterday." He said.

We all got to work doing different projects while Mr. Lossin was walking around to see what we was doing.

I was having fun, making jokes with Abby and Mayson. While Anica and Marvin were working on the robots.

" Mr. Lossin we are done." Marvin said.

The rest of us came to where Marvin and Anica was. The robots were looking amazing.

" wow you two did an amazing job." I said.

The others nodded in agreement.

" thank you" Anica replied.

We all started to pack up our tgings when we saw that the time was 3:30 p.m.

Mayson and I was the first ones to leave the library and we went to Mayson's lockers.

" see you on Monday." Mayson said.

I nodded.

As he left I had went to get my coat out of my locker. I also had to put my books in there.

When I was walking I heard laughter and I knew those voices. It was some of the basketball players.

" YO NERD." one yelled.

I ignored them and safely made it to my locker. I opened my locker and exchanged some stuff.

Next thing I know I'm being pushed into my locker hurting my back. I looked up to see some basketball players.

" didn't you hear me?" he asked.

Some of them laughed.

I looked at them and shook my head. I was scared as to what they were going to do, but I tried to stay calm.

They picked me up from the ground and one-by-one pushing me to the ground.

" please stop." I groaned.

They laughed and continued to do what they were doing. As they were calling me names, and pushing me I heard someone.

" hey, stop hurting him." someone said.

They let me go and I fell to the ground with a slightly loud thud. The basketball team members walked away.

The guy that saved me helped me up. I was looking in his eyes and in vice versa.

" sorry about those jerks are you okay?" he replied.

I blushed and nodded.

" yes I'm fine." I said to him.

He smiled.

We were standing there for what felt like years, until he finally said something else.

" my name is Morgan." he said.

" Grayson." I replied.

All there was, was silence.

" sorry for my teammates, maybe we can hang out some time if you like." he said.

I smiled and nodded.

" yeah, that would be lovely." I said.

I waited for Morgan to wake aeay first and then I left school walking home.
