It was Saturday afternoon and I didn't want to do anything except stay in my bed and watch tv.

I was lying on my bed looking at the ceiling bored as ever u
ntil I heard a buzz.

To: Grayson

Hey! Grayson this is my number.
- Morgan

I looked at the message with shock. He actually texted me, but how did he get my number.

To: Morgan
From: Grayson

Hey Morgan. How did you get my number?

I patiently waited for a reply.

To: Grayson
From: Morgan

I asked your friend Mayson.

I shook my head. Mayson is so annoying, why would he give my number to a total stranger?

I put my phone on my table and decided to go downstairs to eat some breakfast.

" we have eggs, peppers, carrots, pasta, mushrooms, and other stuff." I said as I was looking in the fridge.

I had decided that I would make omelettes for my parents and I.

~10 minutes later

I finished cooking the omelettes and now I'm just going to let them cool off while I go to my parents room.

When I get in there I see that the room is empty with a note on the bed.

Dear Grayson,

    Sorry we left early but we had to get to work. We don't know when we will be back, probably after 1 a.m. we love you stay safe.

I crumple the note up and threw it in the trash, because they are barely home anymore.

After I left their room I walked back downstairs and went to the kitchen to eat my omelette.

" I am so lonely, I have no bubby for my ny own." I sang sadly.

As I'm eating my breakfast I realized how quiet it was and you could hear a pen drop.

When I'm done, I put my plate in the sink and head back upstairs to my room.

I lay back on my bed.

*buzz-buzz*

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand to see who it was. It was messages Mayson and Morgan.

To: Grayson
From: Mayson

Dude, my mom is about to take my phone and ground me to 2 weeks because I was late you class 3 times. Help me!

To: Mayson
From: Grayson

I can't help you, you know how your mom hates tardy. Have fun!

I then looked at the message that I had from Morgan.

From: Morgan

Hi! I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies with me? I'll pick you up.

To: Morgan
From: Grayson

Sure. 56 Merry Way Lane is my address.

Even though I was sad that I would have to get up, but at least I can spend the day with someone else.
