Graduation Day

Morgan Pov

* 3 months later June 22*

It has been about a couple months since Grayson broke up with me.

I'm not going to lie when he broke up with me it hurt me and it made me think if I was wrong.

For a while Jayda and I have been doing well. Now I'm not sure.

I get out of bed and to be honest I'm not really happy to see anyone.

I'm going to miss everyone at school, even the teachers.

Right now it is 12:30 in the afternoon and I am looking at myself in the mirror.

I have about 1 and a half hours until I have to be at school and I'm nervous.

I'm wearing a white button up, black pants, and black dress pants.

" MORGAN ARE YOU READY?" Mom yelled.

I sighed and walked down the stairs to see my mom, my dad, and Andrew.

Andrew has been mad at me for not telling him that I was dating Jayda and not Grayson.

" I'm going to meet you all there." I said.

My mom nodded. I got in my car and they got in my mom's car.

I started to drive aimlessly until I parked at a pond that I used to go too.

I got out my car and sat down on a bench near by.

" why am I such a fuck up?" I asked myself.

" I ask myself that all the time." I heard from my left.

I looked up and saw Grayson.

" hey." He said.

I smiled.

" what are you doing here?  I thought you weren't talking to me anymore." I said.

He sighed and his smiled faded.

" look, I didn't mean too it's just when you did that it hurt my heart and I have been dealing with a lot of stuff mentally." He said.

I nodded.

" I'm sorry if I didn't anything to hurt you in any way. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." I apologized.

He laughed and that made me smile.

" don't be, be happy we're graduating today." He said happily.

He smiled and I smiled.

" what have you been up too?" I asked.

His expression was unreadable.

" well I have been staying focused in school and trying to get my mind off a lot of things.

I nodded.

" what about you." He asked.

" same, just trying to enjoy the rest of the school year.

It was Grayson's time to nod.

" now come on before we're late to our own graduation." Grayson said.

Grayson and I walked to my car and I started driving to the school.

~ 15 minutes later

We arrived at the school in a knick of time. Running to the auditorium.

Grayson and I walk in and we see our classmates in their gowns.

" Gray." Someone calls.

We both turned around and saw Mayson looking at us.

" dude where did you go, I went to get your gown and then you were gone?" He asked.

" I went for a walk." Grayson said.

Mayson gave Grayson his gown and as he put them on it was time for the ceremony.

The students took their seats in the front, while family and friends sat in the back.

" students, family, friends, and facility we are here to have all these wonderful students graduate and go on too the next chapter of their lives and I'm proud to say that, that all of them worked hard and put so much effort into graduating, now I would like the valedictorian come and saw a few words." The principal said.

A girl walked up to the stage and she started talking but I zoned out.

I didn't realize she was done talking until the principal started calling names.

It was a long time until it was time for me to get my diploma.

" Morgan Zoie." The principal said.

I walked in the stage to get my diploma and I look a picture with the principal.

" this is the class of 2025." The principal said.

Everyone in the auditorium cheered with glee and happiness.

My parents and Andrew came up to me and hugged me. I saw Grayson with Mayson.

They were with their family. I walked up to him. Dana stood in front of him.

" what you want Morgan?" He asked.

" nothing. I just wanted to see if Grayson would like to go celebrate with me and my family." I asked.

" he doesn't, he is going out with us." Dana said.

I looked at Grayson, but he didn't glance at me. I saw a tear fall.

" oh. I'm sorry." I said.

I walked back to my family and we left, but I glanced at Grayson one last time.

And that was the last time I ever saw Grayson.
