Chapter 18-Bye

"Jimin, can I talk to you?" I ask nervously as I play with my fingers.

The blond man looks up and gives me a smile before hopping ip and interlocking his fingers with mine.

"Of course!" He exclaims happily and drags me into an empty room.

"What's up?" He asks and I feel my heart pang at his cuteness and the thought of what I'm about to tell him.

"Jimin... recently I got an offer to be put in an all girl group as the main vocalist. I would be going straight to Seoul to join the rest of the group and then making music for a while and gain popularity" I say slowly and he grins.

"That's great!" He exclaims and hugs me.

"Yeah, but that means I won't be able to go on tour with you guys next year, or finish this tour off" I explain and his smile falters.

"You won't?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Why not?" He asks and I shrug.

"They want to get us bonding as soon as possible" I say and he frowns.

"I don't want you to go though" he says quietly and I hug him again.

"I don't want to either, but this is..." I trail off.

"Something you can't ignore" he finished and I nod.

"I understand, and I want you to take the job of course" he says and looks up at me.

"But I really like having you here" he pouts and I smile sadly.

"I like being here too" luckily there's no tears, although seeing him upset drew me close to the edge.

He even helps me go pack and say bye to the rest of the crew.

"Karissa! Wanna go get kimic-what's going on?" I look up to see he guys rushing towards us, Tae slightly in front of them, having been the one to call out to me.

"Shit" I whisper sadly.

This is going to suck.

"Well, as some of you know... A company reached out to me and requested I join an all girls group they formed and be the main vocalist, and I accepted it" I explain and avoid their gazes.

"So you're just leaving? Now?" I hear Tae asks quietly and I feel my heart break slightly.

"I have too" I say and look at him.

His bottom lip juts out.

"But we aren't done with the tour at... What about next year?" Jungkook asks.

"I won't be able to join next year either" I say and see them frown.

Yoongi makes eye contact at me and he nods at me, as if telling me that I'm doing the right thing.

"When's your flight?" Jin asks.

I look down at the email.

"At midnight" I say and he nods.

"It's 8 right now so at least we have a couple hours left" Namjoon speaks up and I nod, silently thanking him.

"We can go get kimichi like you wanted, Tae" I suggest and he just looks away from me and walks away.

"Tae?" I ask as he walks into the bus and shuts the door.

"Don't worry about him, he will come around"
Jimin whispers to me as I frown towards the bus.

"I'll go get changed" Hoseok says quietly before entering his bus.

They all go grab stuff and change before going to eat and Yoongi walks over.

"You're doing the right move" he says and I smile sadly up at him.

"Thanks, I wish it felt like I was though" I say with a sigh.

I feel a warmth around me, making me almost jump.

Is Min Yoongi actually hugging me?

I quickly hug him back before he can regret it, knowing it's going to be the last couple hours I see him for a while.

I feel my throat start to burn but I push it down and inhale sharply.

He pulls away and smiles sadly down at me before everyone starts rushing out.

"Is he.." I trail off, not seeing Tae come out.

"He's not coming" Jungkook says quietly and I just nod.

If I'm doing the right thing then why is Tae so upset with me?
