I yawn and stretch my arms over my head and groan out when there's a knock on the door.
I peak through my curtains to see a guy with a big box.
I furrow my eyebrows.
I didn't order anything... and Mom never orders online..
I rush to the door, wrapping my robe around my cold body and open the door, trying to push my German Shepherd out of the way.
"Are you Karissa Hunter?"He reads off.
"That's me" I say and he nods.
"I didn't know where to put this because it's supposed to rain" he says and I nod.
"Ahh that's fine, I'll take it. Thank you, have a good day!" I call out and he thanks me before leaving.
I drag the heavy box carefully into the house and to my room, not before locking the front door of course.
When i get it in my room I chew on my lip.
What if it's a bomb?
Of course it's not a bomb-it looks like a gift.
Mama probably bought me it.
"It's a late Christmas present though" I think.
Also why didn't she just order it early so I could get it at her house during Christmas?
I push the thoughts out of my head and go ahead and rip the beautiful red, silver and white wrapping paper off of the box and throwing it away.
I go and get a kitchen knife before cutting the tape and setting the knife on my desk, opening the box.
I gasp when I look down at the digital piano.
"Oh my god" I say and grin before I notice s small card.
I grab it and open it.

I've missed you! I'm sorry-my parents found out about your Snapchat and deleted it. Here's my number! xxx-xxx-xxxx -J
I smile at the card before grabbing my phone and texting the number.
