"No, no, no, no, NO!" Dr. Bobl slammed his fists down on the table. "That didn't take them long enough! The DiscJock was too weak? How is that possible? And now they're a team?"
"Relax, Bobl. Not that big of a detriment. Just a small mess-up. After, eh, I'd say, 4,892 prior mess-ups." Someone said from behind Bobl.
"Mattgik! I didn't know you were here." Dr. Bobl swung around and accidentally whipped his hand against his metal counter.
"Just relax, I'll go show 'em. You stay here, and work on those, uh... things." Mattgik bopped him on the head with his magic wand and left the room.
"That was so cool! We're real superheroes now!" Jackson high-fived August, and went to do the same with Everhet, but he just looked at him ominously. He put his hand back down.
Suddenly, there was a loud CRRRACK! Accompanied by maniac laughter. "Heh heh. That was kinda funny." Tony pointed at some scaffolding that had fallen. Then, there was another loud CRRRACK! Accompanied by more maniac laughter.
"Everhet! We finally meet!" Mattgik grabbed August by his hood without warning, before the Trio could even process what was going on.
"HEY! Let me go!" August flailed his arms and legs frantically trying to escape. He elbowed Mattgik in the face before being completely knocked out from the tap of Mattgik's wand.
"August!" Kylah screamed. It looked like August was being kidnapped by his hood, which was definitely not a comfortable position to be in.
"Oh relax, you little brats!" Mattgik shot a beam of light from his wand, pushing Kylah across the floor. "The Birthday Boy here is just going to sleep for a bit!"
Everhet saw August's hand twitch. He was still alive, just asleep as Mattgik had said. "Hey! Let him go!" Everhet sent a ferocious flame of Ryee at Mattgik, knocking him across the floor and into some scaffolding that broke on impact.
Mattgik's head had somehow turned into steel, sustaining the blow with no damage at all.
August didn't go quite as far. "August! Wake up! August!!" Jackson shook him to try and wake him up. He pinched his arm, slapped his wrist and his face, and shook him again, but nothing was working.
"RrrraaAAHHH! You stupid children!!" Mattgik stood up and forced himself into Jackson, pushing him away to stop him from waking up. But it was too late.
August woke up, but pretended to still be asleep, before swinging around and grabbing Mattgik in a tight chokehold. Jackson shot his hoverboard at his face, giving August the chance to break free and punch his knees out, making him fall over.
"This is the police! Drop your weapons and put your hands where I can see them!" Four police officers interrupted the battle. Mattgik reached for his wand. "HEY! Hands UP!" He grabbed it anyway. But just as the officer fired their guns, Mattgik had disappeared out of thin air.
