"We have Chip Chapley on the scene today. Chip?" The news reporter introduced.

"Thank you Paul. We stand today miles away from where this destruction is taking place. Just south of the city of Dewnop, there is a man single-handedly terrorizing the town of Gritshire, not giving in to any negotiation whatsoever. He appears to be the same man caught fighting four children in the city of Fromone a few months ago. He can't be arrested or caught, and he seems to be using some supernatural power to shield himself." Chip informed without looking behind him at the scene.

"Hey, can I see that for a second?" Mattgik was suddenly right next to Chip, as he snatched the microphone from him. "Trio. If you're watching, you'd better get over here!" Matt dropped the mic and went back to terrorizing the town.

The Trio sat horrified in front of their television. August dropped his bowl of Cheez-Its. "Uh, w-what do we even do? That's so far away!"

"We could take a plane!" Jackson pointed out the obvious.

"No, we can't." Everhet shot down. "Those motion sensors in your arms can't get past security. But Jackson can just use his hoverboard..."

"Everhet, can't you, like, teleport?" August asked.

"Yes, but only if I've been there before. I've never been to Dewnop before, so no."

"Fine. We'll go by hoverboard." Jackson got ready.

"Where are you boys going?" August's mom interrupted.

"We're just going to the arcade down the street." Jackson had an excuse ready for a while now.

"Alright. Don't get murdered, and be back by nine." August's mom continued doing the laundry as she was before.

The Trio was getting ready to leave, outside the house, when August's phone rang. "Hey Kylah. What's up?"

"Meet me at the arcade down the street, okay? I can come with you!" Kylah excitedly yelled into the phone.

"Uh, okay? Guys, we need to actually go to the arcade." August put down the phone for a second.

"I know you wanna get the high score in Polybius, but we gotta go! This is serious!" Jackson put his helmet on from his watch.

"No, Kylah says she can help!" August grabbed Jackson and Everhet by their arms and pulled them down the street.

"It'd be stupid to bring her. She can't help us. She doesn't have any power!" Everhet burned August's arm to break free.

"Yes I do! I do now!" Kylah yelled into the phone so the Trio could hear her.

"Shoot, I didn't hang up. Uh, what do you mean, Kylah?" August put it on speaker phone so they could all hear her.

"Max and Valentine sent me something!" the Trio looked at each other in confusion.

"Max and Valentine? That's where I got your gadgets, guys..." Everhet contemplated. The other two looked surprised, and so did Kylah, but nobody saw her.

"Wait, you got our stuff from Max and Valentine? The most expensive, advanced technology on the market?"Jackson freaked out. "I gotta start taking better care of this thing..." Jackson remembered the time he almost broke it walking his dog.

"Alright. Well, with advanced technology from M+V, we could use her help on our team." Everhet cracked a smile for the first time in a few weeks.

"Well, then we wouldn't be much of a Trio anymore, now would we?" August pointed out, smirking at how seemingly oblivious Everhet was being.

"We made that name not even a half a year ago. We can change it however we like." Everhet had a solid point. "We'll dwell on that more later. Let's go get Kylah and get the heck out of this dump."

"Ugh, are you kidding me?" April got annoyed at how her day was going perfectly until now. "He got those gadgets from M+V? We just lost them!" April had been tracking their phone call. You see, there's a reason EI isn't a licensed brand. "Bobl! Get me a bottle of 7-Up from the vending machine!"

"Miss, I'm working here!" Bobl argued. Heh heh, he's not allowed to do that.

"JUST DO IT BEFORE I FIRE YOU!!!" April freaked out more than usual this time. It made Bobl's ears hurt.

"Geez, you're such a boss!" Bobl put down his work and put a quarter into the machine.
