Before unexpectedly meeting with his clone, Ink Bendy had been patrolling the entire building, except the first floor, since he knew Bendy and that human girl were sleeping up there. While he walked around the studio, he liked to cuddle up in his mind and think about a lot of things. Patrolling helped him clear his mind and logically think.
He thought back to this afternoon, where he was just relaxing in his lair and then he heard footsteps on the first floor. That wasn't Bendy. He quickly made use of his cut-outs scattered there and saw a human girl wandering around. She looked to be around late teens to early 20's. She didn't look like she was related to any of the employees who worked here either. He wondered who she was.
To scare her a little out of pure fun, he made a Bendy cut-out peek at her from behind a corner, and she jumped in fright, causing Inky's eternal smile to grow wider. Scaring people with no murderous intent was so fun, and she was undeniably cute. Inky's smile minimized an inch. Wait, cute? Humans can be cute? He decided that he didn't want to think about her anymore and shrugged it off.
The girl then did the unthinkable and hugged the cut-out, surprising the ink demon. What a strange human! During the hug, she said something along the lines of not being mad that he scared her and to take care. She left the cut-out and began roaming around again.
Inky was extremely surprised. In his opinion, it seemed like the girl was acting like the kids from his golden age, when Bendy was so popular. They liked to hug any Bendy cut-outs they saw hanging around the studio. Tours around the studio were a usual thing back then for the children, as well as the parents. It filled the ink demon with nostalgia and sadness. He missed those days, when he was just dancing away and being a projection on a wall, while the children watched him in their tiny seats and laughed in delight. He missed that.
He also missed Boris, his best pal. Sure, there was tons of Borises in the studio, with one being the perfect Boris, but it just wasn't the same. He's a creature dripping with ink and incapable of any kind of speech, while Boris is like cartoon Boris, even though he also can't speak but can communicate through this weird, text bubble above his head. The Borises here were also afraid of Inky, thinking he'd kill them probably. They knew that Inky wasn't Bendy, and Inky understood, considering his horrific ink form, although Inky wanted to tell them otherwise, that he was still the real Bendy underneath all that frightening ink. He respected the Borises, however. He wouldn't do anything to make them feel more afraid of him.
He then spotted one of his cutouts, and that made him remember another strange thing that happened with that odd human girl this afternoon. He decided to frighten her again with another cut-out, and she was startled once more, but the cut-out suddenly exploded. Inky almost lost his balance because he was so surprised at what had happened. Did the cut-out just explode? Without any dynamite or something? Impossible! Even the human girl looked surprised. Inky tilted his head in confusion. So it wasn't the human girl's fault? Then how did it explode? He just couldn't wrap his mind around it. He didn't know how that was possible and how it exploded out of the blue like that.
Inky silently sighed, pausing his limping walk and his raging thoughts to see where he was at. He was at Level K, where the Heavenly Toys section was. He heard someone's footsteps. They were light, and oddly enough, they had a cartoon-like sound—oh, it was Bendy. Inky wanted to go and friendly greet him, even though he knew he couldn't talk. Maybe he could just wave—"Inky." Oh. Nevermind. Bendy knew he was there. Stupid ink veins and weird heartbeat that always has to be super loud every time he walks around. "Nice ta see ya again." Nice to see you too, Bendy. Inky hoped he had a swell time outside today—"Come fo' a lil' chat wit' yerself?" Not really. Was kind of patrolling, but sure!
Inky walked a bit more, until he was in front of his clone. He tried to say 'hi', but it ended up as a nod. Bendy rolled his eyes and shifted his hold on the pillows and blankets he was holding. If so much ink wasn't covering his eyes, Inky would've blinked in confusion and Bendy would've seen it. Were those for the human girl? How kind of him. "Oh, yeah. Forgot ya can't really speak," the toon said. He sounded like he wasn't really interested. "Well, if ya can excuse lil' ol' me, I'll be on my way now." He began to walk in Inky's direction and turned a corner. "Lata', alligata'."
The ink demon felt sad, as he watched Bendy leave. When did their relationship crash and burn? Was it because he tried to kill that human girl from before? He sighed and continued his patrolling. Speaking of the human girl, when he was about to bite her head off near the front door, another strange thing happened. A lot of strange things have been happening around that girl lately. He thought she was going to try and push him, when she raised a hand, but before he could even process more about what was going to happen, he was flown back by a powerful force and crashed against the wall adjacent to the front door. That really hurt, he wasn't going to lie.
After the front door slammed shut, he slowly got up, his lanky legs shaking a little from such a force. He stared at the door in slight fear and confusion. What happened? Did that human girl cause that force? He never felt anything like it. The force he felt was extremely strong and dangerous. He'd better keep an eye out on that human girl, if ever she decided to come back. Though, he had a feeling she will.
Inky thought about visiting her after he thought about what happened this afternoon. At this time of night? His eternal smile drooped a little. No, he shouldn't. After all, ladies need their beauty sleep. He decided not to disturb her for now and focused on patrolling. He could just visit in the morning.
