I want to be loved I want to be a mystical creature I want to have beautiful features I want to be free I want to be older than I am I want to be a grown woman ... I don't know what mermaids do but if I were a mermaid here is what I would do I would not speak, I would sing because every word that comes out of my mouth seems to be the wrong thing. I have this weird obsession with wanting to become a mermaid. I think that they posses the key to unlock the door to any world A world where I have a tail. I shimmer and shine and I never fail (Or eat kale 😂) Songs have been written about mermaids, movies have been made. They have shaped the world for for some girls. Girls like me. Like me who wish they could swim and lay on the floor of the sea Teach you how to love me and lead the world into greatness Love my body and my skin, my black mermaid skin If I were a mermaid I would talk to dolphins because aren't they so beautiful I would talk to sharks and little fishes too, I would swim with schools. There are endless possible for the things I would do if I were a mermaid. ~ I've realized that I can want to be anything in this world but I have to be me. I have no choice in that matter. I have to learn, grow and do everything that seems just a bit impossible and I think I am slowly coming to terms with that. (P.S why can't I just be a mermaid with no worries ughh ) another side note listen to this song I got lots of inspiration from it. Till next time my loves.
