Is it dark enough yet ?

For you

When I see you my heart strings play tug of war
When you smile my legs say "I would walk 500 miles just to be with you"
When your name pops up on my phone
My body shivers because it knows that with you I'm never alone
Your laugh reminds me of the moon and the stars
So bright in a world full of dark
For you I give up my beauty rest and stay up till 3 in the morning
For you I want to become a better person
For you i write silly poetry in a dark car because no matter what I do my mind won't stop thinking about you.

Unfortunately for me my ex is like the best person in the world and I will always have a place in my heart for her, but our relationship just didn't work. I'm guessing it was not meant to be. I wrote this poem for her.
