"no No NO!!!!"
"MOMMY WAKE UP! you're having another scary dream"
"Ida I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, mommy is fine."
Even after seven years. SEVEN years! I still can't get the monster out of my head.
"Ida get ready, today is your first day of school here and my first day at work today!!""Yayyyyy I will choose my own outfit!" Lidia said running to her room.
It's been a few weeks since I gave that man my number so he could make up for the ice cream... I guess he wasn't really interested. But enough of that.... I finally start my job in psychiatry. I really want to help people get through problem where they feel lost and no one understands them. I don't want them to go through the pain that I went through.
While in line waiting to drop Lidia off I saw her fidgeting with her fingers.
"You nervous hun." I smiled.
"N-no. Lidia never gets nervous" she said, her voice sounding shaky.
"Are you nervous mommy?"
"Noo mommy never gets nervous." I said mocking her response earlier.
"Very funny mommy. Well I get off here; have a fun day at work mommy!"
"Thank you Ida I promise to behave good and be nice to my coworkers." I said childish.
"Bye mommy love you!" She said as she was closing the car door.
"Ok. It's all you Anna. Now time to get to work." I whispered under my breath.
Driving to the office made me more nervous. I didn't know what to expect.
Once I had gotten to the office, I was just told to settle in and get to know everyone.
Everyone seemed nice. My workspace was great. I couldn't have asked for anything better.~ding~

"Hey mommy!" Lidia says as she get on the car."Hey sweetheart! Guess what?!" I really wonder what her response will be.
"What?!" She says putting her backpack aside.
"Do you remember that guy that was sitting in the park looking sad so you gave him ice cream?!"
"YES! Did he finally call?!" She seemed pretty excited.
"Yes actually! He wanted to know if you want to go to the park at the same spot to make up for the ice cream." I tell her. She really does look happy.
"I wanna go! I wanna go! I wanna go! Please! Please!Pleaseeee! Can we go mommy?!" Wow so she not pretty excited, she's really excited.
"Ok! Ok! We'll go. Let me just ask him what time." I say laughing as we arrive home. Lidia goes of running to her room screaming in joy.

JASON:
-Great! See you guys there.-At the park-
As we're walking towards the area we were at that last time, I've realized I didn't do a check on this guy. What if kidnaps us, or murders us, or sells us...."Look mommy he made us a PICNIC!"
Or make us a picnic with lots of food.
"Wow" is all I say as Lidia is running towards him.
"You were really sure we would say yes huh?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Nooo..." he exaggerates.
"Well I hoped!" He adds on."Well it all looks great, thank you." I say sitting on the cloth that's well placed on the grass.
Lidia is already stuffing her face with all the food her eyes lay on. He really out did himself. I'm impressed.
"You really shouldn't have done all of this, ice cream would have been just fine." I state.
"Shhhhh mommy! This is better than ice cream!" Lidia nudges me.
"I wanted to. Your daughter really changed my mood for the whole day." He smiled.
"I would have done more but I stopped myself. Well me sister stopped me she knew it was too much." He said chuckling.
Hmmm so he is a family person. He includes his siblings in his business. Points to him. Not like I'm keeping points because he is good looking and I really want him to be a good guy. Ok so maybe I've been alone for a little to long. With college and my daughter I've never had time for a relationship or any type of commitment.
"Does your mom usually doze of like that" Jason says as he waves a hand in my face.
"Yes! A lot. You'd be surprised." Lidia laughed.
"I heard that!" I laughedThe rest of the evening went very well, we ate, we talked. I had a really good time.
