Karen's POV
I woke up with the sound of my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I answered
"Karen!" exclaimed my mom.
"Hi mom, I'm sorry that I haven't called you guy's. But I'm fine, everything is going well. I have a job now. I'm babysitting and the family of baby Theo let me live her."
"Well we are all happy to hear from you lovely. Everyone say hi! Hi Karen!" said my whole family in unison.
A tear ran through my right cheek.
"Hi everyone! Well I have to go.mom because some guest are coming over to the house and I have to get ready, I love you guy's!"
"We love you too! Take care, bye love." said my mom and with that, the call ended. I open the door and walked down stairs to find Theo watching Mickey's Mouse Clubhouse. I smiled and walked to the kitchen. Denise was making pancake's.
"Good morning Karen." smiled Denise
"Did you sleep well?"asked Greg
"Good morning and yes I slept well as always." I answered
"Come and sit down, I hope you like pancake's?" said Denise giving me a plate.
"Oh, I love whatever you make, you should teach me some recipe's." I smiled at her. She smiled back.
"You should teach Karen how to make that chicken recipe that Niall adores." said Greg winking at Denise. Denise rolled her eye's.
"No really, teach me one day Denise. I'm interested." I teased even though I am interested in that recipe.
"Oh Karen, by the way, I don't know if Niall told you but my mum Maura is coming to visit us today." said Greg
"Oh yeah, he told me that she is coming." I smiled
" Well that's good.....that he keeps you update." said Greg, taking a piece of pancake in his mouth. A ate quickly and washed my dishes before Denise got out of the restroom.
"Thank you Denise!" I smiled as I went straight to my room to go take a shower so I can look good foe Maura. I mean it's Niall's mom. I have to dress to impress. I got out of the shower and went straight to mt closet. I grabbed a green dress that was just below my knee. It had sleeves up to my shoulders. I put on a white cardigan on and my brown shoes. They didn't have shoe laces.
I quickly curled my hair making it wavy. After I did my last curl I heard the door bell rang. I took a peak from my door and it was Maura and Niall.
"Oh my god." I said trying to pull myself together. I am to nervous.
"Pull yourself together." I said reminding myself and with that, I walked out the door.
I know that it is really short but at least it is something, and something matters :) thank you once again for your support ! I love you guys!
