A Week Later...

New York.

I've never been here before, so I'm glad I decided to come visit since Chris would be here for a few days. I had landed about an hour and a half ago, hitting him up to get the location to his Airbnb he had for his stay. As soon as he sent it, the driver he had for me immediately put it in and made his way towards Brooklyn. I had to stop him, cause I wanted to make a detour through Times Square one time before we got ot our destination. He obliged, smiling as he showed me around the city for another hour. We didn't see much cause of how heavy the traffic was, but that's what I expected.

It didn't take us long to get to Chris' spot. It was very discreet, located in downtown Brooklyn where nobody would really fuck with him. Plus, it didn't look like some place somebody would be staying at. But I guess that's how he liked to be, ducked off somewhere unfamiliar. As soon as we pulled up, I grabbed my phone and seen a message from him.

I put my phone back in my jacket pocket, watching the driver open my door and allowing me to step out. He grabbed my luggage and walked with me to the door, which looked more like a gate. He pulled it up for me, us both walking in and going down a small hallway to a flight of stairs. I frowned a little bit, wondering why Chris would pick such a place but knowing him, he got Anthony to do it. Figures.

Once at the top of the stairs, we got to a black door. I knocked lightly, only to hear Chris yell back "Its open!" I walked in, going through the small entrance way only to be amazed by how nice the place was. Damn.

It was cream colored furniture all around, displayed on a nice red area rug with red accent pillows. There was a lot of space, making it look more like a photographers spot cause there where camera stands in almost every corner. I raised a brow at them as I made my way towards the kitchen, running my hand across the marble countertop on the island bar. There was a glass dining table in the dining area with some nice red chairs around it. I was liking this spot. Nothing too fancy, but had a bit of flair.

I looked for Chris as I made my way back into the living room. I hadn't even noticed him laid out on the couch, wearing some jogging pants and a white tee.

"You all set, Ms. Daniels?" The driver asked. Hell I forgot he was here too. I was just walking around.

"Oh, yea. I'm good." I said with a smile as he nodded and walked out the door, locking it behind him. I turned back to Chris, who was now looking my way with a smirk on his face. He had cleaned up a bit since I seen him on Facetime. He didn't have all the hair on his head and face. I was liking that.
