Evie POV
I went downstairs ready for school and my mum had already gone to work and then there was a knock at my door as I was going to walk out the door I opened it and it was Caspar

"Hay wanna walk to school with me?"he said I looked around

"I thought you walk with all the boys"I said

"I got left behind and we need to talk"he said I sighed and I shut the door behind me when I got out the house he smiled and we started walking it seemed a bit awkward we was dead quite because I know conor knows how I feel the boys must have told him

"Conor didn't mean to scare you Evie"Caspar said breaking the silence

"He did it to protect you! Harry-"I cut him off

"Harry a dickhead we all know! But beating the crap out of someone and enjoying it, is that the way life is or is it just conor way?"I said

"Conor way"he mumbled

"I can't be with someone who like that Caspar, I'm a girl who always forgives and Conor isn't...where different people"I said

"You wanna break up with him?"caspar said I felt my eyes watering

"I don't want to...but it's probably the best for me"I said he didn't say anything and we walked to school in silence and as we went up to registration I saw jack with joe and he turned around and saw me...

"Evie..."jack said and I walked straight passed him and into registration

Caspar POV
We was sat down at lunch and I saw Evie with a group of girls and I bet she finds it awkward to sit with us and the all the boys realised

"I knew she wouldn't it with us"Oli sighed

"I don't get it though, we haven't done anything wrong to her"Mikey said

"Conor hasn't done anything wrong also Mikey!"jack said moodily

"He scared her"I said

"How!?"jack argued back,The thing is jack is like another version of conor he doesn't give a shit about getting in trouble there both as bad as each other and Evie's the opposite of conor and also jack

"She isn't like you and conor...she more sensitive"I said

"Conor upset that he scared her though"josh said

"Yeah but Evie doesn't know that"joe said and I glanced up and I saw Harry with Evie but Evie looked uncomfortable

"Why he at school"I mumbled and they all turned around

"No fucking way?!"jack said

"But Evie doesn't look happy"Oli said

"Uncomfortable if anything"joe said

"I think because all of them girls are friends with Harry"josh said and I zoned out and watched Evie and she looked up at me and sighed

"I'm sorry"she mouthed I shook my head and weakly smiled

"Don't be"I mouthed back she weakly smiled back and carried on talking to one of the girls I need to go speak to conor about this I got my phone out and I already had a text off him

Conor:last time you helped me so I need to talk to you again, meet me under the tree on the field after school but just you please

Caspar:I was about to say, we need to talk after what I've seen today and what see said to me

After school...
Conor POV
Sat under the tree and I watch Caspar coming towards me, I wanna know what's happened today so I can make things right tomorrow and he dropped his bag on the floor and sat next to me I didn't look at him I kept over looking the field because I was shitting myself about what he was going to tell me on what happened today

"So...Harry at school and Evie didn't sit with us she sat with a group of girls and half way through lunch Harry was opposite her"Caspar said I shook my head

"Why would she do that...that's so unlike her"I said

"She didn't mean to, I think he just sat there and she mouthed sorry to me"caspar said...I guess that's not too bad

"But here the big thing..."he said and I finally looked at him

"She might break up with you"he said and that broke me I stopped looking at Caspar and over looked the field that looked darker than a second it was...no way I've scared her off that much I had in my head

"I've frightened her that much..."I mumbled

"She doesn't want to she told me she feels like she has to for her benefit"Caspar said...I had an idea

"No I need to change this now..."I said getting up he looked at me

"I don't have a plan b but think of a plan b while you walk home...I'm gonna try something"I said

"You sure conor?"he asked

"I'm going to her house and explained myself..."I said and he got up

"Okay...good luck I suppose"he said

"Thanks for coming and telling me though I appreciate it buddy"I said he smiled

"Anytime con"he said I laughed

"Please don't call me that again"I said he laughed and we parted way off the field and I walked to Evie's house and I saw Evie mum outside

"Niki"I said and she turned

"Ah Conor, fancy seeing you here but I don't think she wants you to come in"she said...I knew that might happen

"Please I need to explain myself I would never mean to hurt you daughter I thought I was doing the right thing"I said she looked at the door and sighed

"Wait there I'll go talk to her"she said

"Thank you"I said she smiled and walked inside and I hear her shout her name and I waited and eventually she came back outside

"I'm sorry she won't let me...I tried to encourage her but she won't let you in sorry sweetheart"she said I looked down

"It's fine"I said

"I can't believe I'm letting you do this...climb in the bin onto the garage and her window open...I need to pop back out anyways"she said

"You'd honestly let me do that?!"I said

"I think your doing the right thing by explaining yourself and if she just talked to you I think you'd have her back I know it"she said

"Thank you so much"I said she smiled

"Just wait until I've left yeah, I'll be an hour"she said

"Okay thank you again"I said

"You can be a sweetheart when you want to be"she said I laughed

"On,y to people who are nice to me to be honest"I said and she laughed and she got in her car and waved at me when she left and I waved back
