"There homeeee!"Anna yells from the second step and my mum came out from the kitchen my dad picked up Anna tickled her and her happy giggles made me smile and I saw jack let go of the hug from our mum and I gave her a hug and she cupped my face and she looked worried

"If it's about Evie I already know"I said and she sighed
"Sweetheart you don't know the whole story"my mum said and she brought me into the living room and sat me down

Evie POV I walk into the new fresh apartment I helped my dad make and some coffee and I hear my dad in the kitchen so I walked near the kitchen and saw him doing something
"Dad?"I said and he quickly covered it up and turned to me...what he hiding?
"Your early"he laughed
"If anything I'm late because I was getting coffee"I said and I handed him the coffee and he took me into the living room and we sat in the sofas
"Oh yeah since you've helped me improve this apartment I thought you could meet some of my friends I mean they would love to meet you they say every time I talk about you
"You talk about me?"I said with a soft glowing smile...it made me feel loved inside he still cares for me..maybe he isn't all that bad
"Of course sweetie! You're my daughter! I mean...well..I've truly missed you"he said I smiled
Look at that a heart to heart we finally having which doesn't make him a bad person at all...maybe meeting his friends and his life without me won't be at all bad
"I'd love to meet them"I said with a smile
"Good because when we was shopping the other day I saw you looked at an outfit so I went to get it for you and I think you should wear it to our...let's call it a get together"she said and got up off the sofa for a second I was confused but then I realised he only trying to be sweet to me and he came out and showed me the outfit

Be careful Evie even if you think he a kind caring person it might be a trap to his get together...I mean it it's a tiny bit revelling for a get together with my dads friends I mean I'd wear this on a date with conor not too meet my dads friends
