Chapter Five: Poof!

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I climb up the Wolf's leg, making the Wolf turn his attention to me. Once I was on his neck, I yelled at the pale person. "The girl with the spear! Hand me one!" I yelled, making her look at me. Then, she threw one of her spears at me. Luckily, I catch it. The Wolf howled and roared, lifting up his upper body to try and knock me off. But I held on tight. I lift the spear, and quickly slice the Wolf's neck. The Wolf howled in pain until suddenly, it poofed. I drop on the ground. I got up and quickly ran, not wanting them to see my eyes.
~Time Skip~
I ran into Aldis's house. He wasn't home. I sigh in relief before walking upstairs, and into the bathroom. I quickly look in the mirror. I was right, my eyes did change. I sigh and took deep breathes. Finally, I calm down. I walk out of the bathroom after checking to make sure I was fully calm, thank God I was. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen to get a drink. I sat on the couch and turn on the TV. Suddenly, my phone buzzes. I quickly grab it. Connie texted me.

Yea, why?

Well, I saw you ran off and I was wondering if you we're alright

Don't worry Connie, I'm ok :)

Ok. Cya at school on Monday?:)

I sigh and put down my phone. I was confused. We have school tomorrow. So, what did she meant by 'Cya at school on Monday?'. I shrug it off.
~Time Skip~
It was 9:30 PM when the door opens to reveal an exhausted Aldis. I turn off the TV and stood up to grab his suitcase. "Hey Aldis, how was work? I made you some Coffee" I said as I set down his suitcase on the counter. Aldis walks into the kitchen and walks out with a steaming cup of coffee. "Your joking, right? You know my answer!" Aldis said as he flops down on the red couch. I chuckle. "Work was awful?" I said. Aldis nods weakly. I roll my eyes with a smile. I sat down on a black rocking chair. "I heard that you fought a Corrupted Gem" Aldis said. I look at him in confusion. "Corrupted Gem? What's that?" I said. "One of thoughs Monster looking things with gems all over their body" Aldis said. I remember the giant wolf. "Oh...." I said and look down. "Better get to bed. You have a lot to do the next day" Aldis said. "But isn't it Tuesday?" I said. Aldis laughs. "Nope! And thank God for that! I don't have work tomorrow!" Aldis cheered. I felt my face heat up a little in embarrassment. "So, why can't I sleep in?" I said. "You'll see" Aldis said with a smirk. "Ok? Goodnight" I said as I got up and went up stairs. "Goodnight!" Aldis called.
