Chapter Seven: Meeting The Crystal Gems

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I look at the house as I got closer. Connie had texted me his address just in case I needed to talk with Steven if she was busy. Which she was, she needed to practice her Violin. I walk up the stairs, the wood creaking by the sudden weight. I knock on the screen door. I could see a boy with brown poofy hair run down the stairs. He quickly opens the door. Stars soon form in his eyes. "Hey! Your the girl that Connie has been tallking about! AND your the one who saved Garnet!" The boy said, dragging me inside before closing the door. "Uh, who?" I said, giving him a confused look. "Oh right! You don't know who we are yet! I'm Steven Universe!" Steven said, holding out his hand. I giggle before gently shaking it. "I'm (Y/N). (Y/N) Lycan" I said while shaking his hand. I pull away when he suddenly gasps. "Lycan? As if the Werewolf family Connie had been reading to me about?!" Steven said excitedly. I froze. He can't know, at least not yet. "Um, no" I said while rubbing my neck awkwardly. "Oh, sorry" Steven said before running towards a door with a big white star at the top with different gems all over it. I was about to ask what he was doing, until he suddenly yells. "GARNET! PEARL! AMETHYST!" Steven yell, banging on the door multiple times. I flinch at how loud his voice is. Suddenly, the door flashes open. First, the pale one came rushing out with a spear in hand. "What happened?!" She yelled in panic. The door glows again. Second, the purple one came rushing out with a whip, on guard but didn't say anything. But, the red one didn't come out. "Where's Garnet?" Steven whines. "She's on a mission" The pale one said before her eyes lands on me. She quickly gets ready to fight. "Who are you?!" Pearl yelled. I was about to say something. At least, until Steven protectively stood in front of me. "She's a friend!" Steven said quickly. She pauses, before her spear vanishes and holds out her hand. "I'm Pearl" Pearl said, I shook her hand with a gentle smile. "(Y/N) Lycan" I said, pulling away. "Aye, I'm Amethyst but you can call me Ame" Amethyst said, her whip disappearing. Suddenly, there was a bright glow. "Garnet's home!!" Steven yelled. 'Garnet' appears on the strange pad. Steven jumped into her arms, hugging her. "Garnet! I want you to meet someone" Steven said, jumping down on his feet before grabbing her hand, pulling her towards me. Soon, she was stood right in front of me. I looked up at her since she was taller than 3 inches. "This is-" Steven gets cut off "(Y/N) Lycan" Garnet finished, her expression blank. I was confused on how who she knew I was. She holds out her hand. "Garnet" Garnet said with me shaking her hand. Her hand was soft. Then, my phone buzzes. I pull away and bring out my phone, it was a text message from Aldis. He was asking where I was at. I sigh and tell him before tucking away my phone. "Sorry, but I have to go" I said. "Ok" Steven said in sadness. I wave them goodbye before I start walking home. So much for talking.
