Chapter Nine-Teen: Different Aldis

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I look at Xuman's hand while my hand floats over theirs, I wasn't sure yet. "Well?" Xuman said lifting their hand a little, "are you gonna join or not?". I look up and glared at them, before slapping them. "I will never join you!" I shout before running out of the room and down a hallway. Suddenly, red lights flash as siren rings. "Project A42 has escaped! I repeat, project A42 has escaped!" A robotic voice said through the speakers. I then hear footsteps and voices, I skid to a stop as a see shadows of thousands of people get larger. I quickly run into a room. I look around, it was cold and has cleaning supplies everywhere. It was the storage closet. I sigh in relief but sitting down and hugging my knees as heavy footsteps walk by. I miss you Garnet, I miss you all I thought as a few tears fall.

After an hour I got up, wipe away my tears, and crack open the door a little. The red lights we're still flashing but the siren was gone along with the guards. I quietly step out and start walking around, trying to find my way out of here. Suddenly, I felt a hand grab my arm and put their arm around my mouth. "Once I let you go, don't scream. Got it?" I heard Aldis said. I nod. After Aldis unwrapped his arm away from my mouth and let go of me, I spun around. Aldis was covered in scratches and his clothes we're ripped. "We have to go, now! Before it's too late!" Aldis whispered before he starts dragging me towards somewhere. Soon, we made it to a large green door with a keypad on the left side of the door. Aldis starts typing in a code. "Ok, what's happening? Why are you acting so serious? Your never serious about anything unless it's extremely important!" I whispered. "This is extremely important!" Aldis whispered back before the keypad made a beeping sound, making the door open. Me and Aldis quickly runs out as the door shuts behind us. In front of us we're cars. "Get in" Aldis said while getting in and starting the engine. I get in.

A we we're driving, I was thinking about what to ask Aldis. I had so many questions for him! "Aldis, what happened back there?" I said. "Hm? What do you mean?" Aldis said not looking at me. "What happened back at NSA! Who we're those people?! Why we're you acting so serious?! What do they want from me?! This isn't even half of the questions I have!" I yelled. Aldis grips the stirring wheel tighter. "This isn't a good time, (Y/N)" Aldis said. I growl a little. I was about to fight back, until my phone buzzed. It was a text from Xuman.
